Time for another update.

I took the car to proving grounds and made 4 passes. The transmission worked flawlesly. It shifted hard and didnt slip. Launching the car with the nitrous and the stock converter worked pretty well. I think with better bottle pressure and no other issues the auto would do better then my best 60ft with the 5 speed.

I never made any full passes because the car had a really bad missfire anytime it was in boost. After messing around with it I think I might have burnt out 1 or both of my fuel pumps by letting it run out of fuel. so im now in the market for some cheap walbro 255s or a big single pump

Heres a good pic from proving grounds of the car in its current state.

I'm working on it. I got the old ones pulled. I just need to find a deal or sell some more parts to fund new ones.

Update.

I took the car to Grove creek today. The car ran awsome, shifed great no real problems. first pass off the trailer (25psi hooser 275 DR's) ran a 8.103 @102mph with a 2.199 60ft. almost Identical to my previous best 1/8th. made a few more passes at the same settings cutting a little better 60's and dropping off a few MPH. on my 3rd pass the starting line guy noticed that my DR's has a cut on them from hitting my fender so I swaped on my old 24*9*15 M&H slicks. Next run I cut a 1.960 60ft and run a 7.941@ 90.97mph. time to turn up the boost. I let the car cool for a bit and on the next pass it goes 7.338@98.22mph with a 1.823 60ft. I run a few passes 7.4 and 7.7. The last pass of the day I lighn up with a auto AWD eclipse and run a 7.322 @101.44mph with a 1.778 60ft The tech man at the time slip shack told me next time I come back I better have a fire suite. I left very happy.

How much boost were you running for that last pass?

I say spray that bitch all the way when you hit the 1/4.

Congrats man sorry I couldn't be there.

I think around 30psi. But to be honest I was to bussy trying to keep the car straight to look at the gauge. I really need a loggable map sensor.

After reviewing my loggs Im pretty sure i"m over running my 3 inch GM mass because after about 5500 RPM it gets choppy and the car starts to lean out. I need V3 for so many reasons Speed density now part of the long list.

NOS will be used if I cant get the 10 without it but I think the car had a little more in it boost alone.
