Christ Kracka, you have another baller on your hands. I can't imagine why anybody would spend that kind of money on an exhaust.

It is a nice exhaust! Hopefully yours doesn't rub the driveshaft; I would recommend getting rear diff and driveshaft bushings ASAP though.

I think that dude has 'special' luck. The same sort that I've had with many other things. I looked at mine last weekend and there hasn't been any rubbing.

How long have you had your SX exhaust? Do you have the full TBE (I'm assuming yes from the picture above)? I only went with the catback as Kracka got me a deal on a Megan testpipe.

It's been on there for 11months/8k miles or so. I went with a TBE w/hfc and switched to a tp during my build.

If I were doing it again I'd get a MAP dp/Rexpeed tp/Buschur crossflow cbe. There were a lot fewer options a year ago.

Yes I am, but it's never been THIS hot in Texas before (at least not for X number of days in a row). It takes a little adjusting when you get a whole new level of "hot" down here.

I mean, for the MOD event we had last month, I actually got sunburned. I never get sunburned and I don't even wear sunblock!

If you were going to go with a Rexpeed tp, why not get their dp as well since it's cheaper and lifetime warranty is offered?

The design looks sketchy to me. They didn't do a widemouth and they didn't keep the gases separated long enough for a recirc to work right...they did half of each.

At half the price...perfect! LOL

After seeing Scheides' I'm really leaning towards a coated MAP. I do like the divorced design, the bellmouth design used by AMS is just asking for excessive turbulence. I really wish they would have just cast a divider into it.

Update:

So I actually got my car jacked up on Tuesday and only managed to remove my muffler before having to get dinner. I was going to remove the tow hook yesterday and also remove the midpipe, but it started F-ing pouring when I got off work so that killed me working on the car (we don't have a garage so the car is in the backyard in open view of the sky). Hopefully it will dry up a bit by tomorrow afternoon so I can get under the car again and continue.

Also ordered Torque Solution Drive Shaft bushings and Beatrush Rear Differential bushings from MAP today (with major help from Kracka, thanks again bro!). Did some interwebz searching and both seem pretty easy to swap. From the reviews I read, the drive shaft bushings make a big difference that you can feel. Look forward to changing these out. :)

I did the rear diff bushings in my car in about 10 minutes flat from the time I put the jack under the car to the time I lowered the car back down. The drive shaft bushings were a little more of a pain in the ass because of the bolts being at different heights and the bushings moving around, but I don't really know how it goes on a car with the stock driveshaft as I have an aftermarket one.

There's one that is obstructed by the exhaust but still no big deal.

Re: Greetings MitsuStyles! Kracka recruits yet another one!

I'm just going to wait until the bushings come in before I put the SX exhaust on as the car is already up in the air and the entire catback will be off. So that'll just be more room to work with.

I wanted to set the car on fire when I had to get to that one when replacing my drive shaft in the dead of winter on a cold, wet garage floor.

Set it on fire? To warm your hands of course right ;)

Do we need to link back to the UICP fight between you and goodhart that left one of you banned?
