Nice power band, 280awhp at just 4,050 rpms! Picked up ~40hp/60tq, not bad. :)

Yeah, no other changes. It'd be more dramatic if BP93 wasn't so good. The guys from Cali and other states with lousy premium usually have their eyes pop out of their head...

yay torque! Stock turbo on high boost/octane is AWESOME fun! 29psi is a good peak for a stock turbo; even with an uprated clutch there's not a ton of reason to go any higher than that. Now go have fun with it!

The clutch has slipped a couple times when the car is cold. It seems to be fine after it's moved a block or two. Not sure how that's going to pan out. Kinda sux considering how much I've babied the car.

I got a Perrin rear anti-swaybar and the TWM short shifter/base bushings installed on Saturday. I like both of them so far.

Coilover install and gauges are next.

I decided to pre-order the BBK for the X. I'm going to put it on a Grimmspeed ported & coated stock manifold. I thought about going tubular but I just can't justify the cost.

I'm going to make a call on Monday to make an appointment--time to get the coilovers & Whiteline roll center kit installed. I want that done before the turbo arrives. CBRD isn't due to start shipping for two weeks so it could be a while before I see it.

At MAP's dyno day some guys were bad-mouthing the Xs. Between murlo and I, we should be able to fix that.

The Dom 2 is doing 450 on E85 (GST's Mustang dyno). I guess I'd be happy with low 400's at DB.

Just keep throwing money at it, then they will eat their words.

Keeping track is the best part for me. Thats awesome power though.

Re: Evo X upgrades

RS Motors got the coilovers & Whiteline roll center kit installed on Tuesday. I'm honestly not sure if I like the coilovers or not. These Street coils are noticeably better with some road conditions and worse with others. I am going to pull the guts out of my trunk tomorrow to adjust the rebound on the rears.

The 3/4" minimum drop on the front has been interesting. My jack just barely slides under the car. I think I'll probably keep it at this ride height year-round...dropping it any more sounds like asking for trouble.

I have a fuel leak near the fuel rail. I think the fuel hose is a little short for reaching the fuel filter on the firewall and is getting tugged on. I'll have to get the pieces together to fix that...not sure if I should get a longer hose or a different filter. The UR filter is noisy so replacing that might not be a terrible idea.

Can't wait until one of these arrives:

The BBX sounds like an awesome turbo. Jealous!

What coilovers did you get? Fix your fuel leak before your car burns to the ground!

Robispec Streets (KW v3). AMS is sending me a new fitting & hose since I bought the fuel rail from them. I have no idea who'd stock -6AN hoses and fittings locally--the last few times I've gone to general auto parts stores they only stock OEM parts...worthless.

Thanks! Was thinking about doing an fpr and replacing the return line as a future project. It'd be very nice to find the proper parts locally.
