Re: Progress since last year
I use the twin intake pumps, 90 degree fittings out of the tank wit about 6-8" of -6 an line tbetween the pumps and the NOS y-block..then into the 1/2" hardline. You can see the y-block in the second video I posted in my build thread (did that on purpose for andrew) and if anyone cares to look closer at it, meet me up, or wait till the dyno/cruise. Reason I used that much -6 line between the block and pumps is I heard/red somewhere that the "pulsations" that occur between pumps could great issues, so with that long of line, it allows it more space to be filled, and negate those "dead" spots..if that makes ANY sense.

It does.

I used a Y. A T just didn't seam right to me and I didn't have enuf space inside the tank (FWD). I used two -6 bulkheads out of the sender a couple feet of fuel line and a Nos -6 Y.

Re: Progress since last year
I also ran a Y "NOS" brand fitting. I had around 8" of AN-6 from the tank bulkheads then it fed into the 1/2" line.
However with C-16, I was at the limit of my 880's for flow at the 50psi base pressure I had (even with a ported FPR), well atleast as well as my AEM could control them. |

Hey thanks guys!! I'm shooting for the 9 second range 1/4 mile pass on boost this year. I think I'll be able to achieve this goal

Re: Progress since last year
I forgot to mention that I have upgraded to the MAP twin disk last fall. Love that clutch!!! Its a beast to drive but man does it never NEVER slip!!

Re: Progress since last year
New turbo is being ordered tomorrow... I'm trying to decide on what exhaust housing to run. Any suggestions? The turbo is going to be the new 6765 billet. Its going to be a T4 based I'm leaning towards a .83 ar.
|
Re: Progress since last year
nope. stay .68. I've researched and done math. if it was t3, then ya do the bigger, but since it's t4...68 ftw.
|
Re: Progress since last year
I want to make sure that thing flows on the top end. Kyle told me .83 T4. I'm gonna talk to the guys at pte as well :)
|
Re: Progress since last year
it will it's a t4 framed turbo. You are not loosing much top end air. Why do you think I have a .70 on my snail?

Re: Progress since last year
Yea, exactly. Which is what you should be concerned with.
|
Re: Progress since last year
the new 6765 billet spools much faster then the standard 67 did.I could see 22psi by 4500ish with that smaller .58 house so I had 4,000rpm of power band with that turbo. bumping up in size is a must if its going to spool that quick.
