it will be worse than the talon. One of the mirage guys just weight his with a 4g63 in it and it was 2055lbs

wow it has been a long time for me to work on the 2door. But I did get alot done with it today.

a few months ago dad and I went through the engine and head. It got new bearings rods and mains. 1 new valve out of a diffrent head I had. all new valve seals. all new gaskets and timing belt.

as for today. I took the 90 awd parts tranny the rest away apart and just used the tranny case to make it easy and light. I got them motor in the car with the tranny case for mock up for the front and rear roll stop mounts for the 1g tranny. 2g tranny is a bolt in the car.
I had to cut up the roll stop brace and mod the hell out of it to clear the awd tranny. Also put the evo III knuckles with 1g dsm hubs on the car. It will be rolling on my 98 spyder rims.

the mounts upper is all 2g block and mount. the upper tranny is evo 1-3 bolted to the tranny. the tranny mount on the frame rail is the 1.8 auto mount flipped 180.

The front roll stop is moved over alittle bit to mate up the the 1g tranny. the front and rear mounts are awd. the front ard rear roll stops are mirage 1.8 auto.

also had to redrill the front awd mount to line up with the roll stop mount. upper holes are the new ones

worked on the car some more today and a little last thurs.

last week got the rear motor mount built and a rebuilt the full front to back brace so it sits under the tranny so it was not were the t.c. would sit if it was goint to be awd.

as for today
pulled out the engine and the empty tranny case. then put the rear main seal on, awd oem fly wheel, act 2100 P.P. with a oem mitsu disk. the locked awd to fwd tranny. got the engine back in with the real tranny and got the wiring on the engine taken care of. Now I just have to wire the mirage to dsm dash harness.

sweeeeet, now get a 2G MAS, E3 16g, and evo 560's (sorry I just sold mine) and don't swap it out for anything less than super super reliable :D

reused alot of my evo III parts on this to save cash on finishing it up. Put the evo III fmic on and rebuilt the oem evo fmic piping,evo a/c fan will be used for the main fan now.
