I've met a few people down at Wendy's one time and that was about the only time I met people off the board. I was gonna show up to Ju-On's house party type thing in Blaine a while ago, but I didnt get to the thread in time :(. I'll try to show up to more of these events next time. I need to start reading the General Events more often :D.

Wow, this thread spring outta no where! Maybe we should get 'Hi my name is' stickers so people can write their usernames on them, and people can have a little better idea who's who. That, or people at each meet should take more of an initiative to introduce themselves to people they don't recognize.

Think about it; especially at the smaller gatherings, probably 95% of the people will be from dsmstyle. We all know each other, so why be shy? Relax, you're among friends!

I agree 100%. If I ever do show up to a meet other than a big cookout or something I would be shy as can be cause I dont know who is who. If I knew your internet name I would talk major shit.;) But the chances of me making it to a weekly metting spot are slim with work and school starting up slowly. I hope to meet as many of you as I can at the cookout tomorrow though. I will be around a "purple" 96 talon with a 2gb conversion. Say hey if you see me.

i'm a nub, my 1st event was last years mitsu cookout when i had my 3G, The only person i knew was Kevin (sleepydsm) and i still had a blast.
I would like to have more meets like the dyno day or something like that, it was allot of fun, it'd be even sweeter if we could all get our asses over to Rock falls or up to B.I.R. for some sanctioned racing.
