There really is no reason to be complaining. You can never do anything about this sort of thing. You try and elect the person you think will do the best job, but you have to know in the back of your mind that they are gonna do some fucked up shit. It's inevitable. So, really, this sort of thing should just be igneored, cause you can't do a thing to stop it. Its sad but it is true. If you just ignore it, you'll live a stress reduced life. The peolpe that we elect to help us, could not give a shit less about us and what is good for the people. They want to make themselves richer, and that's the only thing they have on their mind. The all mighty dollar, it can cause families to rip eachother apart. It really is to bad that people are so concerned with becoming rich. If everyone were happy with what they had, think of the endless possibilities. Criticize me if you want, but you can't deny it.

This is a great example of Washington D.C. math at it's finest. You have to go to Yale or M.I.T. to get these figures to work out. 100% is 100%.

Combined by the above AGI % brackets, the top 25% paid 238.40% of the Federal Income Taxes?!?!?!?!?!? Not including the lower 75% of tax payers who probably add another 400-600% of the total Federal Income Taxes.

their excuse is that they pay an X amount more than the average citizen already. Just think, if you made that much money.. would you wanna pay more than most other people? Don't think I'm for this non-sense - I'm just taking the other sides approach.

A flat tax of 10% across the board would fix alot of money issues for everybody.

I think you're looking at it wrong. The top 1% pay 34.3% of the taxes. The top five percent (which includes the top 1%) pays 54.4% of the taxes.

So...the top percent pays 34.3% of the tax. The NEXT 4% pay 20.1% of the taxes. It's useful information if you know how to look at it.
