Nope, I don't have a wideband in this car and have no interest in street-tuning anymore. I'd rather make it someone else's problem while I go eat tacos then come back with my car ready to rip around.

Good call :)

professional dyno-tuning > self street-tuning

I love how you found way to state that like you are above it. lol

I personally like knowing everything about my car and being able to do the tuning, hence why I'm not on here crying about E85 blends and other crap although i don't retune my car for every little fillup either.

How did I state that I'm above it? I said I have no interest in it anymore. I know you're one of those guys that looks down on people who pay to have things done for them but I honestly really don't care.

These should occupy a bit of my time tomorrow instead:

Energy polyurethane bushings for my 23mm stock front anti-sway bar.

Not a bad philosophy if you aren't comfortable or just don't care to do it. There would be more fast cars if people just paid the professionals/trained individuals instead of taking 2 years tuning a car that would have taken a pro 20 minutes.

**Not a slam on anyone on this forum in particular, just a general observation**

Re: GheyrodX - bigger, fatter, gheyer!

I apologize for my inference there.

I don't look down people who pay for stuff, i look down on people who pay for stuff and then talk shit about people that do it themselves especially when they pay because they cannot.

Do those bushings help on the stock sway? I have a set for my car, but I haven't looked up if they fit and whatnot.

Are X's good enough in the front like a DSM, where you only upgrade it if you are pretty serious about handling?

Re: GheyrodX - bigger, fatter, gheyer!

Not sure if they help...I'll let you know ;) As far as I can tell, I'll be the first to try it. The rear bar is definitely the one to do, which I've already done, but I want to try adding a bit more stiffness to the front without actually going with a stiffer bar. I'll also be eventually getting a Whiteline Roll Center Kit too to complete my suspension setup.

I would leave my ego at the door if I was dealing with a $30,000 car as well. There's a slight chance you could successfully remove your own appendix too, most people would go to the doctor and them do it.

Lets here some numbers Pogo!

Re: GheyrodX - bigger, fatter, gheyer!

Nice, I'm still learning about suspension slowly. The little I understand by keeping the sway bar itself solidly mounted to both sides is a big deal. I'm sure the only flex left would be those front mounts.

This. We arent dealing with 5000 dollar dsms anymore, leave tuning to the pros. That and who has time to dick around with tuning in their spare time?

Nice turboz!

Re: GheyrodX - bigger, fatter, gheyer!

The tuning should be happening tomorrow if everything sticks to plan for once!
