scheides (well, T-revzr) and Matt D have heads from MAP. Hopefully his head isn't damaged...too early to tell.

I am always done for having a helping hand...plus you DSM guys are sneaky, you guys know all sorts of neat tricks.

But honestly, aside from possibly needing some help pushing my car onto a trailer, I don't think I will need anything any time soon. But I will post up if I do:)

In your case shit breaks and you fix it.

In my case I saved up and spent the money at once so that I can enjoy it for years...rather than spend years dinking around with the car instead of driving it. I'd rather show up at scheides' place and help with other people's cars than mess with my own.

I'd rather put an ass ton of miles on my car over the years making events all over the country and keep slowly changing things as I see fit.

Thanks for clearing that up dave.

Ok then, now that we have established that people enjoy modding differently...lol.

Just noticed some people finally broke the tie on the poll, now building the X is winning, lol.

Still not convinced its the smart/logical thing to do but damn it i am sticking with it.

Modifying cars is never the smart/logical thing to do.

So true, but it sure is fun.

I often forget to think of it like that.

You could have a different sport bike for every day of the week. Too bad we live in MN.

Re: Dave's Evo X Build

I cleaned up the engine bay a bit with some brake cleaner today, i think i found a piston ring under there...i for sure found a couple big block chunks. I can't get the undertray off yet though, can't find my damn socket with 10mm...grrrr.

Go out and buy about 10-20 10mm sockets. Trust me, even with that many you'll still find yourself looking everywhere for one..

I literally just found it, lol.

I also found one of Shane's on my undertray that he dropped down there when i was on the dyno. Got like 4 of them now. I actually was looking for my actual ratchet and the 10mm socket was on it.

Re: Dave's Evo X Build

Well finally got my ass in gear tonight and got all oiled up, from the car obviously ;) And pulled all the undertray panels off and picked up pieces.

I couldn't see a hole in the block and the oil pan looks alright from the underside anyway.

There was a sensor going into the motor that had broken off, hopefully it isn't the knock sensor :( It didn't have the connector on it and it's right under the intake manifold going into the motor.

Here you go, i can get better pictures of this stuff, these are just prelims.
