55lbs @ 25psi is a damn good amount of air. That car definitely has some 10's in it!

Re: 2G auto S/A daily

How are you reading airflow? If you aren't running a stock unhacked 2G MAS then the lbs/min readings are not going to be accurate. The GM MAF setups on DSMs are far from accurate.

I'm running a 4 bar omni map sensor no gm maf/ stock maf in my setup.

This # was just logged in link.

How accurately can one log airflow using pressure?

Same as a virtual dyno?

Re: 2G auto S/A daily

Without an airflow sensor, you can't read airflow.

Tomorrow is my tune at noon. Gonna change plugs and oil tonight and hopefully that's it and I'm ready to go.

Weather is looking nice and cool!

What did you do about your waste gate?

CornFed2.4 07-24-2013 12:53 PM

Re: 2G auto S/A daily

I had to just fix it. What happened was the mount came loose and moved the rod forward. So when we tapped it with the hammer it couldn't move cause the arm was fully depressed. As soon as I took the cotter pin and wastegate arm off the flapper closed completely. I've put 500+ miles and no hang ups.

I contacted a few shops and none could have an external setup done in time and I couldn't purchase one and have it in time either.

Too bad the tune is at noon, otherwise it'd be fun to swing up there and watch!

Good luck!

Boost leak test too!

Re: 2G auto S/A daily

Just went through DB's checklist.

No oil leaks, fans in operating condition, coolant system bled.

Just need to zip tie a few lines to the boost controller, and zip tie the dipstick after oil change.

Should I gap my plugs to .24? I'm running bpr7es goal is to get over 30 psi.

Nice that it was an easy fix. I gapped mine at .24. It wouldn't be a bad idea to have an extra set of plugs. Good luck tomorrow

Yeah I have a few new sets sitting here and I always keep a spare set in the glove box.

I had to go down to .018 on mine before it stopped blowing out with this setup. I was on stock coils, however, BPR8ES plugs.
