As for the next rallycross, it's supposed to be next weekend on the 13th but it may be cancelled. We'll see what unfolds over the next few days. Oh yeah, and the cost is $30 for non-SCCA members and $25 for members. All you need is a car that will pass a small tech inspection and a helmet with a snell rating of M95 or better. Usually there are loaner helmets available. I willl have my extra one there as well. |

Yeah, my tranny broke twice last year. 1st time I broke 2 shift forks. That was at the track. The second time I broke a shift rail end. That happened about 2 blocks from home.

Re: Official 2005 Challenge Thread
yes those are nice one's when they break like a block from your house. I remember new years eve last year when my Case exploded 2 blocks from my house.

And Nash's big problem last year was an uncooperative tranny. |
Re: Official 2005 Challenge Thread
I'm sorry but this is just fucking retarded.. dumb_ricer, show me a car that has run 10s or 4s or whatever that has NEVER broken a part. I've seen even neons at the track break down when running 17s. Want to explain to me this? If you want to have a fast car, your going to break parts, period.

Re: Official 2005 Challenge Thread
And what was that point? That 10 second DSMs break? That is common sense. So do 10 second Neons and 10 second Mustangs and 10 second Hondas...

What exactly in this comment I made makes you all jump on me. OMG I have an opinion, ahhh. I simply stated that I dont believe a car a capable of anything UNTIL it actually does it. As for you all jumping on me for 10sec DSM's breaking, give me a fucking break. I'm well aware that any car running a respectable time is going to break but it seems like DSM's running 15's and DSM's running 10's both break A LOT. And its never really big things either, its just a bunch of small things added together. |

It's way to late for you kid. Don't even try to save yourself. If you didn't drive a neon that might help, but i doubt it. You dug yourself a pretty big hole and it's pretty funny watching you try to dig yourself back out of it. |
Re: Official 2005 Challenge Thread
