I was thinking of going to the pit last night as it would have been nice and sloppy, but didn't. Depending on how long this snow lasts it should make it even worse over there if the temps stay above freezing. Make for some good video again and I don't think we'd go up the hills as easy.

I know what it feels like to get the Jeep stuck though. It takes about a foot of snow in a corn field in IA. ;) Got stuck playing around in the fields at my parents place last weekend. took me 3 min to get stuck and 30 to barley make it out without having to get a tractor. Next time I do that I'm going to uppack all the gifts first, and I hit it up before checking in. Good thing I didn't get stuck as no one was even home for the next hour or so and me with a tractor is dangerous!

I found the new housing development right over by 94 to be fairly fun but nothing special. Gonna give the bigger pit a try maybe this weekend if I get bored.

raised from the dead, the pit is thawed out, wet with a few more water spots, and definatly ready for spring mud slinging. I was just over there the other day looking around, plan on playing over there a few days this week/end.

Here are a few new pics from yesterday, I am going to play around over there for a few min today. The terrain has changed a bit since last year, lost more 3-4 foot deep ruts due to the wash out and snow melting, plenty of mud still around though and looks to me a few more hills to play on.

It's out between Rogers and Elk River right off HWY 101 & CR 37.

It's about a 30-40 min trip from St Paul.

It's pretty much free rein. At any time there are Trucks, Jeeps, Bikes, & ATV playnig around. ONce you get into the back part of the pit you can't been seen anyway. It's impossible to miss it's location.

94W to HWY 101
HWY 101 North to CR37 (no stoplight, take left)
And the opening to the pit is on the left hand side after the main townhome entrance. Can't miss it. You will see the outlaying parts of it that is used a lot by ATVs and Bikes when you are on 101.

We didn't get there until around 8ish but it was probably me and my buddy's F-150. That place is the shizznit, my truck is now completely covered in mud.

I ripped my lower front bumper off going up one of those crazy hills but I was planning on removing it and painting it anyway ;)

Yeah, we both have exhaust and I was taching about 5000 R's going up that muddy ass hill.

Have you ever seen anybody getting F'd with by the police for being back there? I'm sure it's private property but it looks like people have been tearing it up out there for quite some time.

That gate you entered though used to block the entrance more. Since that land is now the city/county/state till they tear it up to expand that road to 4 total lanes it's free game. People have ATVs, Bikes, Cars & Trucks back there. It's nice and out of view for the most part, not one time have I seen a cop over there and there are 2 that live in the townhomes accross the street.

Well I made it out there. It was a blast! The place is sweet! I had so much fun i had to leave with my truck on the back of a tow truck! One of my brake lines bursted open.. Kinda sucked when i went though the water and then wasn't able to stop and went plowing into the big hole right after it! Oh well it was still a blast! Oh yea this was after i went to the contrustion site frist because i thought that was the plae there! lol

I must have just missed you guys. I went over after finished up with the Jeep and there was only 2 truck over there. Both looked like they hauled over a couple ATVs. I did see some guys standing and a truck playing around but I thought I'd be done with the Jeep before anyone left.

Glad another one likes the place, and you're not the first to be carried out by another rig :D

yea I was there till about 530 when the tow truck got there. But other wise it was a blast. Next time I go we'll have to meet and you an show me around there a little bit more. So if it was before 530, then it probley was us playing around. we had a tennis ball to occupy time waiting for the tow truck..If i get it running ( or stoping) I will go out there next sunday for sure!

Then I think I did see you guys, looked like someone might of been playing ball or somethig near the exit when I walked down to get the mail.

When I went over I also noticed that the one abandon truck was now rolled over and drug to more of the middle of the pit. That's some funny shit!
