edit: that reminds me, when i worked at morris mazada, their lift #13 was semi-broken and un-reliable. good thing you only have one.

Well for all you nice individuals that were planning on coming today, go spend time with you Ma instead ;) I have a little more work to do here then I think that is what I am going to do.

I will get everything in place here so it is ready to put in on Monday with the help of a bobcat and likely I won't need too many people, but if your bored, I won't turn down the help. I will post up about it Monday when I have more details and make sure its all set. Thanks again to everyone, you guys seriously are the best!

Actually, that wouldn't be a bad thing ;) I am getting ready to open a hole in the cieling pretty quick here as well as move some lights. Might be a good thing to have someone to watch me fall off the ladder and call the ER.

Thanks Matt, I might. The cieling is cut as needed, the lights are moved and the island just needs an adjustment then I am going to double check measurements and get as many people as I can to stand the uprights in place. The neighbor is going to put the top bar in place with his bobcat for me as soon as the other pieces are in place. So basically, I likely will need a fair number of hands to help stand them up tonight. I will post on here for sure what time if anyone can help again.

Thanks to JET, Nash, Eric, Andrew, Joe,Kyle, Matt D for all the help moving the uprights in place, that was a ton of work and it went pretty well. Thanks to Shiedes for showing up when it was done, the thought was still appreciated :D

Everyones help was appreciated though, those were some heavy freaking chunks of steel. One seriously solid lift. I thought it would have no trouble picking up a decent sized truck. Possibly even a 3S, but Nash doesn't buy that one. Yes on the truck, no on the whale. The bobcat guy is coming in the morning at 9 or so to put the last piece in place. The wiring, chains and drilling the bases into the concrete are whats left. We got most of the lighting redone today so we can see again. At any rate, thanks again for all the help, even the moral support!

The top bar is finally in place, don't know how we didn't completely tear the building down, felt a bit close a few times. The really hard parts are done, now for the finish stuff.

Last update. Finally yesterday, I finished the wiring, hydraulics, assembly & mounting it to the floor so it is all functional now. Thanks to everyone that helped along the way. Turned into a way bigger (and more painful) job than ever expected, hopefully it will be worth it.
