Ive never dynoed, so im probably going to need a little help getting it into FWD mode heh. I know it has something to do with taking out or disconnecting the Viscous coupler. Also, Im picking up my GM maf / translator / AFC tonight and a couple other things in a couple weeks. If for some reason I dont think it will be ready, I will take myself off the list.

An update I want to add right now is that everyone beyond the first 11 I have listed might not get a chance to dyno.

I do want to say that we should be able to get 15-20 up on the dyno if we can keep everything going smooth. Considering it's [b]NOT[/not] going to be a day filled with tuning. 2 runs for $55.00. Now if we only end up with 6 or 7 cars then I am sure we can get a good deal on a few more pulls. All aditional pulls will be extra as stated in the first post with a limit.


As for the Welded VCs I would strongly suggest you understand that even with the welded VC installed there is more work to do to get the car ready to dyno. The driveshaft will have to come out and it can be hung up securly and driven or you could just completly take it out for a day or two.

This is shaping up to be our best year for car tournout and fresh faces up there as well.

I am going to accept payments before hand to make things go a little smoother. So if you'd like to pay in advance via Pay Pal, cash, check, or money order please PM me. I will take a check since it will have time to clear. I will then be responsible for making sure Elite gets paid. Payment the day of the event will be done as you register with me before actually hitting the dyno. The day of the event payment should be via cash or any other form of payment Elite accepts.

If there's too many people before me, then I'll just come and watch for a little bit. Haven't seen any DSMs on their dyno yet. It'll give me an idea of how the VC thing works and all that other good stuff.

It all depends on how smooth things go. Ellite has said on other sport compact days they can rip through 15+ cars in an afternoon. So we don't want to putz around, but woudl love to get as many of your guys up there for some dyno time as possible.

This is true. The MNSC one was like 15 cars and it took like 4 hours maybe. The past DSM ones took like 12 hours and it was like 8 cars. ;)

was hoping to get my car properly tuned by you guys and see what my dsm will make with all the new mods that i'm putting in the beast. pm me if you have a spot open for me, i believe a few ppl would love to hear what it makes on pump gas, i didn't really look at the forum but what's the cost?

It is just a dyno pull day, we aren't doing tuning. I think it's $55 for quick consecutive 2 or 3 pulls.

Quests are not DSMs.

James I don't see a problem getting you on. If it's the GST then it's an easy up and down. If your using the AWD just keep in mind ALL awd cars drive in FWD and ready to go. We are going to have spaces saved again for those needing to under a car before or during the event to make this happen. I am also going to have jack stands on hand and a few spare jacks. Bring your own items to tie up the driveshaft. And please bring your own tools.

As of right now with James added I am holding up on adding any more since that will make a nice list the way it is. If anyone backs out I will continue to add to the reserves. As always DSMs first.

What I would probably do in make the list order pre set and posted 1 week in advance.

Also to make payment easier for Elite I am taking payments starting now.

I will take checks/money orders payable to me (Allan Dahlen) up until June 17th so that all of them have the ability to clear ok and I will then pay Elite for you. You can also use paypal and send me the funds at the address dsmstyle@dsmstyle.com. You will have to pay the pay pal fees thought. So add $5 as a fee there. Say dates for acceptance. If you want to get payment out of the way PM me first before anything to verify your going to dyno and have all the information.

Cash, or CC (Visa/MC) is preferred if paying the date of the event.

lol, Yeah I would like to have a final list by Sunday, July 10th.

I just want people to be up front now if they aren't going to make it to the event. If we fall short and only have 2 or 3 at that time saying they will dyno I can't see it being an event worth the time.
