I'm too scared to put in my 2600. Right now I'm running a stock pressure plate and am not sure what I'll do when it craps out. Same motor, 4G64 7 bolt but with OEM bearings (ended up using 3 different sizes as per the manual/ouija board) and OEM main bolts. I've sent two samples of oil to Blackstone labs (one at 500 miles and the other at 3000) and so far so good, but I still have zero confidence in the motor. Even less now. [/b][/quote] You made it past 1K. Your confidence should be going up. Typically if it's going to go it will do it in 1K or less. But we are talking about 7 bolts here so you can never really be sure. |
Sorry to hear that Chris,
Hope the 6bolt goes well. |
Clutch switch bypass was done, come-one guys this isn't a 'lets prevent crankwalk' survey, EVERY 'trick' in the book was done. Chris, stop by the shop or give us a call, we'll figure this out for you.
