Update on the tower here is were it stands right now i think maybe a little more bondo to fill in some pinholes and then its ready for paint.

I am trying to get that bondo as smooth and even as possible for sure. And thanks guys also the accident was on 7 in anoka april 23 it was on the news even but im doing way better now i feel good and the pain is mostly gone doctor said i could maybe be walking in the next couple weeks if my xrays look good and the bone is healed

Got something done tonight cleaned up the tranny and got it painted turned out decent i guess atleast looks way better than before thats for sure.

Got a bunch of stuff powdercoated from my neighbor and it turned out so sweet. Also got my timing belt and pulleys and all that crap today to start assembling my motor again.

Thanks man i just gotta keep on keepin on and get crap done.
Also will be getting 1650 injectors instead of running my 1250 so hopefully it will help a little with us running out of fuel on the dyno.

Picked up a compressor and a couple guns going to tackle the paint job tomorrow cant wait till I can drive this thing again

It is finally painted starting assembly tomarrow !! Not the best paint job ive done but sure looks a hell of alot better than before.

It looks great in the picture. Basically all the blemishes in my paint job disappeared once the engine bay was full again. No one will probably ever notice unless you point them out

Looks great sir! Good job. I know how tedious engine bay painting can be. Just make sure to keep it clean. Use some wax in there to. Get a nice coat to make cleaning easier!

any one have any tricks to get the steering rack connected to the subframe I can get it on like three fourths of the way and it wont go on any further its frustrating me a ton ahha. like the splines wont line up or something

Try spreading the area where the pinch bolt squeezes, and lube it up, then it should slide on easy.
That's what your talking about right...? Where the column attaches to the rack won't slide on completely?

Got work done today !! Everything is wired up and all bolts tight and torqued. Just have to put manifold and turbo and stuff on and fill fluids then it will run finally. Looks really clean also i love how it turbed out !!
