I'm still in for a 2012 Focus hatch.

How does timing work? First come, first-served? Or will there be a rough schedule of times? I have family in town that weekend so even a rough estimate of timing would be great.

Where's the wedding? Drop off car with me, I'll shuffle cars...you could get at least one done.

It is kinda first come first served but I want people there as soon as they can. What it does it ensures the Tint Pros guys don't wait around with no cars, especially due to a no shows which I have had before.

If someone needs to be in and out I can usually accommodate them as the first car. Most people do end up just chilling and such anyway. Event tends to go till 1 or 2 at most, so we have opportunity to fire up the grill and enjoy a lunch time beer.

Sounds good! It'd be great if I could be planned as the first car, but I'll try to be there early no matter what.

Have you been to AJs?

AJ 10-21-2013 05:35 PM

Re: Tint Day

Tinting is not done outside in any weather, and working on a heat option with BB bringing a back up, additive. :) Only downfall is if we have snow on the ground and peeps hibernate the cars by then.

turbotalon1g 10-21-2013 05:38 PM

Re: Tint Day

ugh. I forgot about this.
My heat option will be more than enough. That place will be toasty within 10 mins.

Looking forward to getting this done, driving around this past week has been hell.

I think he's referring to the original 2 car garage, that I don't have anymore. :)

You'll need to contact Tint Pros on that directly or ask them the day of.

Re: Tint Day

I've talked with tint pros about the weather/temps, and there is concern with the adhesive. This even might be moved to their shop in New Brighton is people are still interested. They would still honor all the pricing we have here for the group at their shop.

Would anyone object? No point in spending money on something that may not be the quality that it is known to be.

Re: Tint Day

I'm not coming because I have no turbo on my car.

AJ 10-29-2013 05:25 PM

Re: Tint Day

No, the deal is only for cars done this weekend as a group. I'm gonna confirm the time, but I think people will want to show up around 9:30/10am.

They did say they would take another $10 off per car, assuming that's a full car.

turbotalon1g 10-29-2013 06:52 PM

Re: Tint Day

Well let me know when the next one is too.

AJ 10-30-2013 10:00 PM

Re: Tint Day

It's confirmed, they will be tinting out of their shop location and take an additional $10 off the full car price.

Anyone else in, out, or gonna change their mind again? lol

I may be on kid duty so not sure if I can venture out yet or not, but if I can I'll be there as well, though all needed details are in this thread. Will updated first post as well.
