I'm bringing mine. I have a roll bar mount also. We can switch off between passes. I'll try to remember to bring a thumb drive for ya so you can get the vids after. Bring one if ya have one in case I forget.

I have a brand new HJC open-face helmet (moto-x style). it is snell approved. Would this and safety glasses be acceptable to run a pass with a motorcycle?

Jake if you need pants to run your bike I could bring my kevlar riding pants I have. My buddy wore them last time out there on his cbr1000, they gave him a little grief as he was trapping mid 130's but still let him run. I also have an extra helmet I could bring if anybody needs one like Erik

I for one don't mind, this will easily be one of the biggest group of DSMs going in a very long time and I'm down to go as a group.
I think if you could make it to the stop 630-645 we could all stick together and cruise down.
X2, been a long time since a lot of DSMers have gotten together to do what these cars do best.
I'd go just to watch and pit crew for all the people going out there.

I just have to plug random stuff back in, tune for the change in blend and try to have my launch settings down so I can make some full passes.
I'd love to hit a 7 flat in the 1/8

That would be sweet. Do you need leather gloves too? I have regular Icon riding gloves but should probably look for a set, I dont want to get kicked out. I am not 100% sure on the bike yet, I will most likely bring it for sure and see how I feel and how busy I am when I get there.

Yea it says you are supposed to have leather gloves but they don't say they have to be gauntlet style. I should have an old set of gauntlet style from when i went down years ago. No holes or anything, just the padding on the palm is pretty much gone. I wore them last time racing and they didn't say anything. I could bring those too if you wanted.

You have a gsxr 1k right? You'd need to rig up a kill switch too though as I'm guessing you'll go faster than 10.99. Could always ghetto rig it with a lanyard and a self tapping screw but just bring something with haha

6:30, F that. I'll swing by Mickey D's at 7am if anybody is still there. It doesn't take that much prep to go through tech and ready to run. It's only about 45 minutes from Hudson anyways.

One car doesn't take too long to get through tech but last time I was there on a fun type of day me and Paul got there before the gates opened and there was already a line just to get in. Took a while to just go through the line just to get in, then by the time we unloaded the bikes and got through tech there were already a couple people racing. I'm guessing it's going to be pretty packed as this is the last race weekend of the year.

Plus plan is to meet/shoot the shit while eating then leave at 6:45. Wake up 15 minutes earlier and cruise out there with us!

I don't think getting there right when they open is a good idea, I think its just getting lucky but a lot of people seem to want to get there right away.

I haz no race car, so i just need to pee and empty my tool bag and I'm set, usually.

I say we meet at 7 and make this a group thing, plus i need all the sleep I can get.

Brad, an hour and twenty minutes from Hudson? I'm not sure what route that's taking but I used to get there in about an hour and a half from Brooklyn Park, that's at about 75mph going through Elk Mound. We used to get back a little quicker than that sometimes. :D

Its longer then 45 min. It took us an hour and 15 min ftom hudson cruising 75 80 the whole way. But any whore I will be going. Dont know if iam taking the bike or not.
