Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
Sweet shit dude, did VRSF ever get back to you, or did you just acquire some different intercooler piping?
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
Just got a refund from them. Not going to wait for it forever. Seems like a one man show.

Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
T-25 to 50 trim, nice "conversion".
Should do much better than that high 15 next time at the track. |
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
Hopefully he will find out on saturday at RF!
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
haha I was for serious.
That'd be sweet to see it out at the track on Saturday |
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
I agree, he could tune it on the drive down and then tune WOT once we get close.
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
Me and jungy are planning on tuning this tomorrow on the MAF which will probably be a limiting factor along with my injectors and pump. But don't worry, My Omni power 4 bar map sensor is on it's way ;) Thanks brown, never mind on maxing it.
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
why would you be maxing out the maf?

Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
Guess who's on ceddy mods!
<-----This guy! Install was flawless minus one hiccup. Again, this car has never failed me. I think it truly loves me. Today, we started at 12ish and the first mod was Vals(burger joint on the cheap). Then we installed an AEM uego. Next up was ecu, while jungy was under the dash working his soldering magic, I was up front and installed a grimspeed mbc and the 1g CAS. Later on, jungy put the ecu in after pinning 79 for the reflash adapter. Read the ecu using ECUFlash and after calling spaz to reconfirm things, got ceddymods flashed on the ecu(SD version with big maps). I'm still running on the MAF until my MAP sensor comes in and we are ready to go SD. 1st try, fuel pump wasn't turning on. We remembered that it's a N/T spyder ecu and it triggers the fuel relay differently. After a little research we tapped into a power wire off the ecu to trigger the pump, flawless. 2nd try, no spark. This is where we were stumped, tried researching and jungy came to the conclusion that he forgot to solder a wire, DOH! Re soldered our harness and the car ran perfectly. Set the base timing to 5* and we are ready to swap injectors and fuel! That won't happen til this weekend because we are so busy with school. Unfortunately, I have to work on my birthday from 3-11 so, I will not be going to the track. Always next time. So until we have time again, I can't wait to mash on this damn peddle and jizzinmahpants! I <3 my DSM! On that note, sorry for breaking the cruise rules but it'll be done with how installs have been going! |
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
Nice!
Good to hear, glad I could be of service too for the little technical things. :) |
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
Awesome!
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
How bout me bitch?
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
^who the hell are you?
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
I was going to give thanks at the end when it's all said and done....I guess i'll start now.
I'd also like to thank Goodhard, Cornfed2.4, Jungy, Spaz, Ceddy, and my g/f for putting up with my sh*t and being patience. But especially Goodhard because without him, i would of never been able to flash. +11111!!!11111 |
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
You aren't real friends until you thank each other on the interwebz
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
Lmao I just wanna ride in it tomorrow foo
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
She's on e85 and pulls pretty good at 15psi. Can't wait to bump up the boost and tune some more!
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
Hmmm interesting i guess im on a similar set up would be nice to line the two cars up sometime and see the GREAT ADVANTAGE AUTO HAS OVER 5speed hmmmmm :D Good Job!

Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
What the hell, sounded like you and B would have your faces stuffed in books all day so I didn't bother stopping by. Lemme know when you are in the area again, I won't be in St. Cloud again for a little while
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
haha and cam to. Didnt think you were on the forums. Yeah. It was a spur of the moment for me to install my injectors on my own and try to scale them to run on e. Took awhile cause i accidently flashed the sd rom..oops.

Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
So what do you do for a knock sensor with the n/t ECU?

Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
^You just aren't that good of a friend. You doods should come this way while you tune instead of driving in circles.
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
sears would be fun. Goodhart. No difference. Just fuel pump trigger is different. It logs knock just fine and its the same type of ecu ceddy used for all of his testing. This thing works flawless
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
Kick ass nice to hear man. If you came to Sears on a Firday or Saturday night I'd go with.
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
I work Saturday, still need to tune it as of tonight. Also, Sunday, i can't be out all night because I have class in the morning. But would like to tune during the day.
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
^Bring it down today! Good weather for a cruise and we can do a birthday lunch or dinner!
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
That is a possibility. Tuning 2 cars, 1 on link and 1 on flash. I'll let you know.
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
Oh hot damn, you guys are pros! Come tune my shit!
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
^^^LOL, your such a deek.
Just getting them ready for the cruise. If Cam decided to register his car... |
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
^I'm serious, everyone always does stuff different and knowledge is power. Plus I have a cold start issue that I'm not enjoying.

One log from tonight, I can't get the values on the AFR graph on map tracer to scale right. Or can you not do that? It only reads up to 13..
|
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
Almost finished tuning! Finally figured out how to work this damn thing.
Evoscan dyno says 295 at WG pressure which is 15psi. I doubt it's that but with a half tune on the way back from some pulls, a solstice wanted to play. He got the jump by far but once I hit full boost, I reeled him in like a 2 year old with a fishing rod with a sunny on the hook. More to come tomorrow... On a side note, my gf officially hates me spending so much time with my car. But i still get sammichs and good times! :Banane56::Banane55::romp_69l: |
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
hahahaha, good times yes!
Did you go from a dig with the solstice? |
Re: Project Stormtrooper TK1204
frumdig and i didnt try to stall it. Didnt want to risk anything. Sorry about the phone call. I was trying to read what jungy had pulled up on the comp. According to my psychology of women class. Men cant multitask haha
