I'll try to cut down on it this year, it just bugs me to stop and wait for the other lane to finish their tire spinning/not being ready-ness before staging. I'd rather just roll around the box, right up to the line, push the brakes, and be ready to race.

Autos are going to holeshot us though, I used to take all the 5-speeds with my little 14b auto back in the day. They'd always womp me on the high end though.

You can double-bulb my dumb ass all day long. When I am staging I am so focused on keeping my crap can from stalling, creeping forward on my miserable clutch, and pre-loading the drive train, that I never would even notice..

If you are running awd cars though spazy i doubt u will be waiting for burnouts, i know us auto doods have to double bulb just so we can be ready.

Murlo is correct, I used to have a FP Red, now it's a built motor with a 6466.

Depending how time works out, I'll have a set of M&H Drag Radials on Evo 9 wheels. I'll rent them out for beer.

I'm fairly sure I'll end up kicked off for drag racing if they enforce the NHRA rules at all. There's always the Auto-X and the Road Course.

They would be good enough. Full slicks boots you out of stock appearing. I hope to have a set of QTPs on slips by then. You could throw those on and see if it helps. your run wouldn't count but be cool to see what it does.

Yes.

the tire is a +35 offset. I might add in 8mm spacers to get a 1g optimal +27.

JJ is on the EF4 still I believe.

Still not going to work in SA though, as it has to be a stock comp cover, which the EF4 is not.

At +27 and stock lower control arms, your rears will stick out just a hair and the fronts will stick out a good inch. I had that setup on my 92 last year. I'm either going to run staggered next year or run a +38 in the front and a +28 in the rear with 255's as well.

I'm really thinking about how to get 275's or bigger in the rear, I've got a few ideas but no time. :bengals:

I'm still trying to figure out how Evo's can compete in the same "stock appearing" class as DSM's when the biggest wheel/stock compressor cover for the DSM is 47 lb/min and the Evo is 68 lb/min. Hence why I don't give a crap what the Evo guys will be running since I don't have one of those grocery getters anymore. :D

Yep, not to mention weight. Well the evo 8/9 isn't as bad, but shit my car is like 800lbs over some of you 1g guys. (i think its that much more, don't quote me I guess).

That and I sucks at driving big laggy turbo!

My auto weighs in at about 3300lbs. EVO X is a pig, but the 8/9 not so much.
