Awesome. Hope to see it in person one of these days!

The final piece for 600+HP

-8 fuel lines. And yes I do realize that fuel line wont help me but I wanted to switch to black and it was a good time to do so while switching to the dual fuel pump setup. And lets face it -8 will look better then -6.

Nice.

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Where did you order the lines from? Was it a kit? I order some stuff from STM. But never again! Screwed up my order missing pieces wrong parts ect. Not to mention almost 45 days to ship. Crazy! Just wondering cause I may just reorder all new then piecing what I have together.

blageo23 07-26-2012 02:00 PM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

I pieced it together myself. ANPlumbing.com. I have had little issues with them. Only time was when they failed to tell me an item was out of stock until 3 weeks after I ordered it(and I had to call). But it was an exchange so I looked past it. I have ordered through them on 10+ occasions. And they are the cheapest place to get Earl's fittings I can find

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Agreed, I have ordered through them also and they did good.

Thank you. Car looks good btw

AN Fittings = $$$. I like the all black look.

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

I made 579hp on stock lines and stock filter, are these AN lines needed?

CornFed2.4 07-26-2012 04:47 PM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

No not needed but stock lines with a dual pump setup isn't the easy way. AN fittings and braided lines make it easier.

blageo23 07-26-2012 05:02 PM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Stock lines= UGLY
AN Lines= Purdy
AN lines win
I'm going for looks and function. Plus my factory lines were ditched like 5 years ago

turbotalon1g 07-26-2012 06:02 PM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

I hope he makes a lot more than 579whp with that big turbo of his.

blageo23 07-26-2012 07:34 PM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Last year I made 567hp. We were just starting to run out of fuel. Now with dual pumps and a slightly bigger turbo Im hoping to make well over that.

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Lets see it! When are you going to tune it?

blageo23 08-01-2012 04:55 PM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

I spent today putting in the new fuel lines from filter to rail and rail to fpr. Also the new magus fuel rail.

Very nice. Very dark in there.

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Looks good! I'd like to see what kind of power you make!

blageo23 08-03-2012 04:58 PM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Me too. I am having issues with the straight fittings on the filter and fpr. They are leaking gas and I can't figure out why. I tried another fitting and another adapter and still leak. They want me to send in the assembly to get tested. I don't know what else to do at the moment.

GsXtUrBo98 08-03-2012 05:09 PM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Interesting... The fittings I got through map didn't have any problems.. Good luck

sleepydsm 08-03-2012 05:16 PM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Are they o-ring fittings? Or straight pipe thread? Is the AN side of the fitting leaking or the fuel filter housing? Liquid teflon? As you know the AN obviously needs no sealant as it seals on the 37 degree flare.

sleepydsm 08-03-2012 05:19 PM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Gap your plugs tight! Bring extra when you tune! Like .020" lol

blageo23 08-03-2012 10:06 PM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Put new plugs in and gapped to .020. It's leaking where the mail adapter meets the female an. Not the hose side at all

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Is it still breaking up?

blageo23 08-06-2012 02:07 AM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

I havent driven the car since. The fuel line in leaking. I think the breaking up is ECU related. I think its some kind of fuel/ign cut. I am maxing out my boost gauge(35psi). Im thinking the BCS is bad or the WG

blageo23 08-06-2012 11:42 AM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Swapped my fuel line around and it leaks at the same adapter. So I will have to get a few new -10 to -8 adapters to cure the fuel leak.

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Get it done. I want to see this at fall dyno day

blageo23 08-21-2012 01:50 PM

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Still having cut issues.Installed my new boost gauge and I was hitting 41PSI. So I removed the WG and examined it and nothing seemed wrong. Removed the BCS and hooked the WG to the turbo and I hit 31PSI (18LB spring set).
I also sent the fuel lines back to where I got them from and they are going to test them and see whats up. I know its the adapters but they will not return them unless they examine them first so hopefully they will send me new ones.
Also today I put my new bumper on. Fit is not very good considering its an OEM bumper. here is a pic

And for fun... My black flleet :)

Im interested in what the turbo makes! Looks like ill be getting the same one but only a
t3 .82a/r.

So post once it gets on the dyno.

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Its been slow moving with this thing for years now and I am still running into issues. Its been over 2 months since I ordered the fuel system fittings and I am still having issues with the people I bought them through. In the mean time I got a new fuel pump relay set up and took the wires that came on it out and replaced them with 10 gauge wire and longer wires to run to the ECU.

http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/h...pse/null-8.jpg

Figured out my cut issue tho. It is my BCS. If I dont have it hooked up no cut and 25PSI when I have it hooked up it cuts and hits about 43PSI. And it also clicks when you shut the car off until the ECU relay shuts off. Haven't looked into it any more then that.

Re: AWD Spyder Project Thread

Sucks on the fittings. I get my an stuff from Esa at pirtek on uni. They are cheap and can have anything in a few days if it is not in stock. I got everything for the Evo for a few hundred bucks all 10 an line and fittings.
