The head is now at MAP getting stage 3 porting. 10.5:1 pistons are custom ordered hopefully 1st week of May. Hopefully put back in car mid to late May.

Re: SE take two!

some things change some things stay the same.I decided to go with a 2.3 liter stroker with everything else staying the same for now :)

Re: SE take two!

Nice! 2.3's are pretty awesome. The more I see them the more i like them. Awesome for street fun.

Re: SE take two!

Nice port job!

Also 2.3 FTW... especially since its all apart. Just slide that Credit Card! LOL

Poll added sorry I made it public I'll know better next time

Re: SE take two!

I am assuming this is on Cobb's dyno?

Asking us locals might be a little skewed as Cobbs (assuming you are talking about theirs) reads quite a bit higher than RS's mustang. It reads almost dynojet levels from what I've seen.

Not trying to start any crappy dyno debates, just pointing out what I've seen.

Regardless of the number this will be a super fun street beast.

Re: SE take two!

the poll is just for fun no prizes just take a guess

I guessed....same as you it looks like ;)

I was just helping others realize where their guess should be..just a bit of background info.

When do you hope to have this on the rollers?

PlanoEvo 03-22-2011 10:08 AM

Re: SE take two!

my guess is mid to late may

Re: SE take two!

Maybe I am missing something, but what turbo and what fuel setup/who is tuning it?

Poll number options seem low from what I would expect a 2.3 to put down at 30+psi.

DoughtCom 03-22-2011 04:03 PM

Re: SE take two!

I was basing this off a stock turbo, not sure if he's getting a bigger one, but from what I heard from Hughes today he might be?

+1
I was just re reading the thread to find out what turbo...

Murlo26 03-22-2011 04:05 PM

Re: SE take two!

I guess I thought he was on the stock turbo still.

Hughes, this is the same dyno your old IX did 360/369 on right? So add a 2.3 and E85 to the mix?

Kracka 03-22-2011 10:55 PM
