Thats what I'm wondering :( At least DSMstyle will be E-Famous now, if only DSM style still existed.

Oh man.. I remember him from Rice Killers (he belongs there). I told him what his car actually was and he wanted to fight me over it. And guess what? He didn't show up to the meet that week.

Nothing worth getting screenshots of. NewMember and driftn1g are the same person according to IP addresses. And you guys say I need to get laid...

LOL "DSMStyle"? Haven't heard that in a while. What a noob.

Sounds like someone is jealous that he has no friends in real life or on the internetz.

lol I'm DSM_421 (DSM_420) before my name was changed there. I also got banned because I spoke out against the nut swinging they do. Not going to lie, scheides is a great guy; site owner. But the new member bashing shit is right on. I also saw it as a bunch of people who were unpopular in high school N' formed a little clique on this website to try and put down other members who haven't been on the website for as long. It is very counter productive, hence the reason the site is so small still.

haha, just looked at the video again for the hell of it and this was in the comments. I remember this kid, he's the one that had the broken leg at that dyno day years ago, then got banned for some reason. Guess he must still be bitter for some reason.

Re: How mods treat new members on STYLE

DSM_420 was good shit until he fell off the deep-end drunk one night. Never turned back from there for some reason.

Kracka 10-27-2010 02:14 PM

Re: How mods treat new members on STYLE

DSM_420/1 got banned because he would regularly get drunk/high and post incredibly offensive stuff, bash members, etc. At one time he was a very nice guy that got along with all the mods/members just fine, he was even dyno day bitch once, problem was he handled his alcohol and weed about as well as a 4 year old girl.

Its funny to me, the internet is easily one of the best forms of entertainment esp. for me since I like to rib people and for some reason online they get way more upset which is pure awesomeness.

He also said in a post on MNSC that he was not driftnfb, but someone else entirely ("New Member" apparently :loser:). He is just trying to obscure facts and confuse people.

He's a real winner, the board won't miss him.

Hrm apparently driftn1g/olga/NewMember is not DSM_420/421. Very confusing when people start making new screen names over and over.

Re: How mods treat new members on STYLE

^Yes, but he is a racist. you should view the comments about me on there.

Funny thing is I was really helpful to this kid who thought DSMs were the awesome-st thing ever and wanted to be like the rest of them on the net.
Whatever.

I'd like to see the site go more private with the increasing number of asshats around.

dude was usin' this place like it was MNSC...that's the problem here.

Re: How mods treat new members on STYLE

Having been here a while, I've got to say this place does feel like a lot like an evolved HS social click. But that's probably what makes it so interesting. I would rather a local board be socially driven to benefit members who work to get something out of it, than be a sterile signal-to-noise info database.

Carry on...

lol im fairly new and i havent been given that much shit, but maybe thats because i actually post helpful shit and know somewhat of what im talking about then i try and help some one with a car issue(i sappose im gonna get alot of shit now lol!)

Re: How mods treat new members on STYLE

^^^LOL

I try to welcome every new member with some assistance because you gotta start somewhere. If someone comes and insults right out the bat because they don't like what you're doing and they have no idea what they're saying/doing/etc, would you help them? I more than happy to give someone a hand and have them more educated than just saying "search"...yes, even though they should but I'd rather explain the basics and then tell them to search depending on their situation.
The only reason I hated MNSC is because a majority of those who use that place are just using that as a place to rant. MNSC is also an OBVIOUS thief forum, there are thefts in that place every week. It's ULTRA rare for me to meet someone who is like what they are in the forums/internet. After one dyno day and cookout, Mitsustyle was the place to be. Like what Scheides says, it's all in good fun....or something like that.

Yeah, you really have to go to a meet or an event in order to understand how this site really works i guess or to see how people really are. I thought brownman was an asshat at one point til he explained himself in the sb and actually talked to me in person.(all fun and games, the man speaks the truth though) Now he's just funny as hell and a cool guy.

Also, I met Jim at BIR at a bonfire by our campsite, and well he was drunk, I was drunk. He told me loved me and the rest is history.

I think someone even said at one point. You have to have tough skin in order to actually like this site. Something along those lines

The high school clique thing? Really? I don't see it as that at all. You actually have to talk to these people in person. They are all awesome. But what do I know? I just post stupid stuff that doesn't make sense or help the situation.
