Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results
had a great time. would have loved to see what the car puts out now. the last time it was on the roolers was when i was at lse and josh and me stayed late trying to tune it but found out mirage fuel line cant make more than 300awhp.
|
Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results
A lot of the local higher HP 1Gs have already been on the dyno within the last couple months for tuning and probably didn't want to spend the money to dyno or have broken again. :)

Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results

Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results
The Colt wants a piece of that Omni of Doom. Depending on the weight of that car I think it would be an awesome race.
Wish I could have gone, screwed again by working nights! |

Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results
Haha, the Omni of Doom vs the Talon was a pretty good race. I was afraid he had me while my turbo was still spooling. Lightweightedness is no joke!

Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results
Great action shots man! Sean needs one of those T3 dodge turbos with variable vanes. BALLER.

Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results
I was down in Minnetonka this weekend and was rolling around with my bud when all of a sudden I seen a few 1g's and an Evo at the end of a parking lot. Had him swing around and I guess I stumbled upon the Dyno Day! We cruised through, sat at the end of the lot and molested a few rides visually. Hope my turds up and running soon so I could attend the next DD. (I was the creeper in the black chevrod).

Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results
Most of the people there didn't even have sports cars. Basically there were only 5 real sports cars there, 4 starquests and a fiero.
|
Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results
um..insurance lists the eagle talon as a sports car, from what my insurance states, anyway. Therefore, desolate's car, is a sports car.

Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results
So, I guess the definition of a true sports car is a rear driver 2 door with a truck motor, since all those listed are exactly that. haha.
|
Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results
I said hey to Kracka as we drove past. We sat in the back of the lot for 10-15 listening to a few runs. My friend is in a wheelchair and didn't want to deal with getting out. Nonetheless lots of nice rides!

Looked like a pretty nice chair though, from what I saw.

Lol @ pull off pics. Too funny.
Also funny that everyone is calling it the "Omni of doom" after I wrote that up on the board. lol |
Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results
Hey, it fits! I love it when cars get dubbed names like that and then it sticks!

Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results
Sport compact cars FTW. Thanks Spaz for the pics!
I told Hughes the day before I was going to be happy with 110WHP at DB and I had no idea really what to expect for TQ. All I can say is 117WHP and 157WTQ made me extremely happy, especially on DB's dyno. I mean I even beat Craig's Mini and the WRX in TQ and the car weighs 800-1000lbs less, which I guess is a bad thing on a light FWD car but I'll take what I can get :) The next thing is my stock Evo FMIC, 1G BOV, 2.5" Flapper (o2 housing) and a aluminum aftermarket radiator. It's good to see it was running dog rich towards the end of the band, means it probably should be ok at higher boost. |

Spaz we have to race again, I didn't know what was going on. I started going then let off the gas because I didn't know if you were going yet, haha. But I'm pretty sure you would still pull me a little, I had to respool the turbo and all of that. I would have honked 3 times but the omni's horn is taken out... lightweight FTW? No it was just broken :) |
Re: Spring Dyno Day 2009 Results
4 pages and i'm the only one that's posted dyno graphs? wtf people! LOL!
