Basically I want to worry about my trap speed. I wanna trap 124-125 with the 16g. That is my goal for the year. So far my best is 123 but that was with only a decent tune. I'll have a better tune on it this time.

I'm very tempted, But money really tight right now. And I'd have to buy a new Harness mine was out of date last time I went with you. Im going to go to Grove creek and get my launching and traction sorted out before I go back to Rock or ceder.

I believe you'd want to load up the rear axle so it doesn't have any droop.

Actually, what you want is to prevent the front suspension from drooping. I'm not sure what he means with the rear end. haha

Well my friend with his gtp did what they call the "cable mod". What they do is drill two holes in the frame and tie it around the rear shocks and it keeps the rear up and doesn't allow it to move. So maybe he's thinking of something like that..

My old FWD we just tacked welded the rear shock shafts so they could only compress 1/2" :lol:

Mine is a miniDV that's about 4 years old. It's not too bad, but nothing too fancy. I have a tripod as well.

I have a decent hard drive camera with a tripod coming out. Although I wouldn't consisder myself a great photographer. Hell it can't be that hard. Shoot the car launch to 1000' and then zoom on the score board.

Swifty, you can bring the helmet if you want just in case, but I think Brian is bringing me a spare so you might just end up leaving it in whatever car you drive to Champps.

I'm not sure if my extra helmet is up to code but they've never checked Snell ratings anytime I've gone out there.

If they give you any shit I'll let you take my brand new one up to show the inspectors so you will pass tech.

I will also be bringing a video camera but it's an old Digital 8 Sony.

well we have a size small HJC helmet if your noggin is small, and a black one thats medium or large, but these are full face street motorcycle helmets.

We are going to walmart tonight so, we can pick up a hanna montana bicycle helmet if anyone needs one to race... :) -Britt (Maybe the hulk or xman, or spiderman would be cool, or with MAYDER or Lightning mcqueen)

RFR accepts Snell 2000 and newer. I believe the ratings are good for 10 years, so next year will probably be the last for that helmet.

really dumb, as I bought it, but never even got to use the fricken thing. It's been sitting on a shelf for like 3 years.
