Just a quick update...finally put in a new air filter to replace my crushed up Apex'i. I ordered an Amsoil from a local guy, $39.50! I ended up having to cut my samco hose down a bit, took of about an inch I think. I also got it so that the BOV is no longer hitting the radiator hose.

Seems like it's a bit louder now. Doesn't surprise me, this filter has way more surface area than the Apex'i and doesn't have that huge metal thing attached to it. Other than that, doesn't seem to be any different...
