I haven't touched the car since monday night, but i did get a NT TB, but i can't find a gasket anywhere that is the task the next couple days, also got a DP gasket.

Still need to install battery and make some kinda tiedown.

PTE hasn't touched my turbo some BS happened over there i get to deal with that tomorrow.

Shitty thing is even if this car is running friday, the weather doesn't permit tuning.

Oh man I hope you are kidding, I'm gonna talk to my dad tonight about borrowing me some money for the cruise and then I will give you a call tomorrow.

Oh I'm ready to rock now! Anna's car got a flat tire this morning, stuff was broken when I got to work so I had to run to our datacenter in edina. In the rush, I got pulled over doing 65 in a 30, got off with a speeding and tint ticket. :(

^yeah ain't that right. They seem to be out in full force today.

I can say that i probably won't be going, turbo is being sent ground today, still need a restrictor from FP, i can wait for sun knowing that my car will be ready when it gets here.

^are you going to be going from the filter housing, but then also using that restrictor in between the turbo and housing? Just curious because my 50trim seals are going bad and all i have is it going from the housing w/ no restrictions.

That also sucks about the speeding/tint ticket. Did you just have that tint put on?

Nope, had it for 1.5 years, I can't be rollin ghetto style yo!

Also, those of you that 'can't go' because your car isn't ready. Check the original post date of the cruise, you've had 3 months to prepare! I have had 2 dsm's and an evo, never had one down for more than a week. Without my car running, life is not as fun, and the grey cloudy weather makes me sad. With it running, a snowy cruise sounds fine to me!

So, wipe the sand out of your puss-infected vaginas and get your ass to the cruise meeting point in whatever set of wheels you can find. If your car has not been working, you must have some other form of transportation. If not, crawl in the back of the evo and we'll have some fun!

I guess the rumor I've been hearing about cops cracking down on tint is true. Seems like everyone is getting tint tickets lately.

Yeah I heard that on the news after that cop got shot awhile back. Sucks about the ticket. Will it go on your record or is it one of those that if you pay it off in 10 days you're ok?

Yea sorry to hear about the ticket Scheides... Could of been worse though, isn't it a felony now to be going 30 miles over the speed limit and you also loose your license for a year?

In MN you loose your license for 1 year if you are double the speed...

Some cops are very relaxed on that though.

Yup :D I got pulled over doing 80 and accelerating in a 30 and was let off with a warning. Damn NLTS being so fun!

That just sucks though for scheides, depending on how many MPH ticket he gave him, his insurance will go up.

Yeah my cousin got a tint ticket too, his suv been done since 2002 or something. Cop made him pull it off. Said he was lucky and that they are cracking down.

A cop can't make you pull it off (a judge can order it). Just go to court and fight it to either get the ticket thrown out or fine reduced.

I have decided to leave my summer wheels/tires on the car. I'll probably clean it up a bit today though so its at least a bit shiny underneath all the nasty road spray.

No ticking, no fan noise since i deleted the belt driven fan. Cars so quite I can hear the weird sound of the intake sucking air.

Still have to make sure nothing leaks, leaving early to finish a few things up.

My car will be in limp mode but it works alright. Decided it's not worth it to install dsmlink a day before the cruise so I'll be rolling with AFC and minimal boost like I have been the past few months.
