Guys, coming down and hanging out while the cars are getting dyno'd is what this event is all about! Getting to know people face-to-face, watching some cars put down power, eat food, prizes, etc. Yes, please come, and bring some friends, you won't want to miss this event!

They won't come to "DSMer" events for the most part; they are very exclusive and elitist (there are a few exceptions, but not many).

It might be because of crap-taculer statements like that one, is the reason there aren't more 3/Ses that show up.

I've been to almost every DSM dyno day in the last five years. And everyone I've ever been to has had other 3/Ses there as well.

Curt, did you see where I said "exceptions"? For the most part, the MN-3/S crew does not associate with the DSMers...its been that way ever since I got into the scene back in 2000. In the conversations that I have had with 3/S owners, the majority of them look down on DSMers and want nothing to do with them. That is their choice and so be it I am not attacking you or saying anything about you personally so please don't think that or take my statements as such.

Since MN 3/S is a very active club, with our own events, its hard to get them to also show up a more general Mitsu meet. Heck, its sometimes hard for me to get 5-10 3/Ses at a MN 3/S event these days. So getting a few of them to show up at a Mitsustyle meet is doing pretty good.

Everyone thinks there car is better than the "other" car. Thats just pride in your ride. But generalizing 3/S owners as elitiest is just dumb.

If I weren't Autocrossing I'd show up and hang out. Wouldn't run my car though, no need to watch it make 300-317 HP, again.

And about 3/S'ers being elitiests, yeah I can see where the stament comes from. But I honestly think Curts statment about the 3/S group's own events is mostly the case. I hang out with the DSM'ers more than the 3/S'ers, because I have known the people longer.

i'm not sure about that one^^...maybe around your area. and if it is true around the metro area that would be kinda sad how most tuners would think of it that way. i seriously doubt most 3/S owners would like to think that way. most teenagers have that mindset not us.
