Also, you said you fixed the tire and test drove it to make sure there was nothing wrong. Why would he allow you to test drive it again in the morning if you already verified that it was ok?

You are a tool, and I will continue to post in this thread.:)

Oh, and what is a double layered tire? Never heard that terminology before? Care to elaborate? I dont know of any tire that doesnt have more than one layer.

Because we had fixed the tire and test drove right at 4:30 which is when we close, and the tire pressure monitering sensor had a security alert which means you have to reprogram all of the sensors, so he just left it over night and told us to take it out when we reprogrammed them to make sure it was all up to par. As far as the double layered tire I'm not sure of the proper terminology other than the fact that its twice as thick so the rubber lining sits flush or actually a little out past the rim for protection.

As far as the "title", there's 4 salesman, 2 recon (wash and detail) 1 parts manager 1 body shop guy, 2 service managers and 6 technicians and im the 3rd highest tech, so my title is a technician you could call it lmao.

Most new tires have "rim protectors." Its just a lip on the edge molded so you dont curb your wheels, hits the rubber instead...

Why are you having a 3 page discussion on Fords...?

Alright, the 3rd highest tech is 18 and never been to a tech school? What the hell are the qualifications for 4, 5 and 6?!? Remind me never to go to that dealership for service!

I actually took 3 years of tech school while in high school and I'm enrolled in a Ford Asset tech school as we speak. Once again ignorance speaks without facts. As far as only doing oil changes and tire rotations, I think I've done about 5 oil changes and tire rotations each since I've been here, but don't hold me to that that's just a rough estimate. I do a lot of diagnostic trouble shooting. I'm not trying to say I'm the smartest mother fucker to walk the earth, but for my age I've got a good start.

You may have the technical background, but you have nothing upstairs for common sense. There isn't an insurance company around that would touch an 18 year old with a car as rare as that with that much power. If you were serious about getting that car, you seriously need to think things through much more than you have. I would buy a house long before I would buy a brand new, high powered car. At least then you have something to show for your money. Get your foundation set first and then think about toys.

It doesn't take a genius to resynch the tire pressure sensors. Why didn't you just do it while the customer waited and watched? It shouldn't take you more than two minutes. That's the least you could have done after dogging the shit out of his car. BTW, get used to it because all '08+ vehicles will have onboard tire pressure monitoring systems.

The "double thick" tires are Goodyear EMT runflats, welcome to the last decade...
