I laid my Suzuki down the first month I had it thanks to a woman driver in an Accord. It was only at 15mph but it was still unpleasant.

It wouldn't hurt to take the motorcycle safety course before you buy a bike either.

I'm getting a bike soon as gas prices suck and my car is being rebuilt. I'm going to hold off on the TSi until fall and ride until then with these gas prices.

I have my eyes set on some R6's on some websites for sale. I'm sure they're not the fastest but I figure it's decent to start out on and they're going for cheap. I just want something with less than 17,000mi. and for around $3500.00 cash. I think I'm getting one this weekend if all go's well.

I don't think it matters what size of bike you're riding. I've seen people get hurt worse on xr50's than on 125's/250's. You're probably laughing and asking "how?" It just happens!~ What now bishes!? Just remember, Feet-Knees-Roll

Lets see if we can do a group-buy on some bikes

That safety course was the best thing I ever did regarding motorcycles. I don't how old you are, its worth the time and money. Even some experienced riders were they and they went away learning something.
