It's funny reading the earlier posts in this thread. We finally got some snow after all these years. We only got about 12" up in northern Brooklyn Park, but it was enough to cancel church this morning. Pretty cool.

The mazda was nice and clean in the garage but I had to shovel out the Prisim today. And shovel off the foot of snow covering it. I'm just happy it's half way warm outside and not fuck'n freezing.
And it ended just in time, we can still make our Bennihana reservations tonight! WOOT! |

I see you guys finaly got some snow. I wish I took photos of the storm we had a few weeks ago. Had a good three foot snow drift between the Minivan and the Grandam. And all I had was a six inch spade shovel...thank god my mother inlaw let me use her snowblower.

It is a f'ing mess down here. As of earlier this afternoon, there are 170,000 Iowans without power because of the ice. There are countless trees down in Ames and across campus. The phones are messed up back home at my parent's. What a disaster....

Woot! Changed the tranny, tcase, and rear diff fluids in the Evo today after I finally finished shoveling my 6 foot-long driveway and the rest of the sidewalks. I swear there was a 3 foot deep mount outside my garage door, partially from the snowfall and partially from a plow that mowed through late this morning.

You can see the imprint of the wheel and license plate, thats how packed in her car was. Fun times! |

Well we got the snow Feb 24 "my birthtday" ended working for 20hrs started at 6:00pm ended at 2:30pm the next day, it got to the point where we would plow a 50ft section and 10mins later I'm plowing the same section and it looked like nobody touched it Pics comming soon Left camera in Plow truck or Skidloader somewhere. Feb 25 started at 9:00pm ended at Feb 26 at 7:00am 10hr. Huge Failuare One of my trucks refused to have the Plow go up down left right $120.00 fix and Yesterday One of my Skidloaders went down yet to see the bill on that. And tonight starting at 10:00pm till only god knows when. Pics comming soon I'll show you guys a real pile of snow...

Monday morning I woke up and called into work "snowed in". I wasn't exactly, as the truck would have made it to work just fine but that girl has a little cavalier that probably wouldn't make it a foot out of the garage. So I decided to stay home and dig out. After shoveling for a bit I gave up, told that girl to get in the truck, we were going to Rochester to get the biggest snowthrower we could find. Luckily for us, Northern Tool just happened to be the first place we went and they had one nice two-stage thrower left. :banana:
It was really hard not to buy a ton of other stuff there too as they have lots of cool shit. So we bought the damn thing and I was happy as hell all the way home. So I say bring on the snow! |

Coming down AGAIN in Winona... What a fucking surprise! I am starting to think that this just built up from the past years and no snow earlier this year, from all of us that said when is it going to snow. Now it just said "fuck you" and dumped 30"+ on us.
Looks like another fun and exciting day of plowing again tomorrow! Weeee. |

Took Anna's GLI out for some fun last night and the thing does pretty well for being only FWD. I was gonna go back out with the Evo but then it stopped snowing :(

Snow was crazy slippery last night at around 8PM, everyone was flying into the ditches. This morning the commute was fine, no standing traffic and I was going the speed limit the whole time. 6-9" are on the way through the day though.. getting home will not be fun. Hope evening class is canceled! |
