Re: ss auto chrome fmic
The Ebay cores are a bit of a crap shoot, some have turbulators, but most don't. Carpe Diem!
You never did state how much the SCM61 powered cars made. |

Re: ss auto chrome fmic
Here is my take on the matter at hand: If you are trying to build a reasonably priced street car with a smaller sized turbo then the eBay kits will be fine. If you're trying to build a racecar or a very high powered car, then yeah, plop down the extra cash for a really nice brand name intercooler setup. I think the larger the turbo/higher the boost the more gains you'll see from a better quality setup.
On a side note, this board sure has been blowing up with drama lately :) |
Re: ss auto chrome fmic
Can we get a picture of these "turbulators"
EDIT: never mind I am an idiot. |
Re: ss auto chrome fmic
I'll make sure to formally introduce myself next time I see you.
I'm not as big of a douchebag in person. :) I still have my opinions, and they stand until A. I prove myself wrong, which happens B. I get proven wrong, which also happens. Yeah, I was amazed when I heard 1500whp as well, I thought it would be 1200. |
Re: ss auto chrome fmic
its just an inertiadrum dyno, pretty hard to eff up those calculations.
