that price is not including what the price that "could be" for the free parts. Thats with everything minus the free stuff. sorry It sounded confusing there. but that price is as closd as i can remember.

A//// Guy 01-09-2004 04:33 PM

Whats the big deal how much people spend... some people have retard cars that just arent fast even with mods. Look at mine.

I dont know why you guys are all having a hernia over exact pricings.

Maybe compare prices to how fast you have gone or how much HP you make, that would be more interesting than seeing the same parts being listed for everyone.

Enes 01-09-2004 05:06 PM

car and all the mods
$76.18 per 1 whp

all the mods, go and show
$45.77 per 1whp

That is without retuning with new trany and all boost leaks fixed.... the most accurate will be sometimes this spring or hell even maybe next month :)

Blade 01-09-2004 05:27 PM

So far, I have spent absolutely nothing on my car. A dude that works for my mom bought me a gold 1976 Ford Mustang II Cobra for $500 because one of his neighbour's husband had died and she wanted to get rid of some of his stuff, and the mustang was one of those items. Right now, its being restored and I'll be gettin it in late April to late May. When I get it, I'm thinkin on painting it a different colour and gonna add a little boost to it.

1QUICK4 01-09-2004 06:54 PM

Ive got about $4500 total in mine (including car and motor/tranny overhaul)

Pushit2.0 01-09-2004 08:33 PM

... to much. The galant, over the 3-1/2 years about $20,000. but about 10k in performance mods to run the 11.6@122 with 25psi. dyno of 423 with 23psi pump gas. I am hopping my talon to be a little faster then the galant could do, slow pos.

Halon 01-10-2004 12:25 AM

100 new valve stem seals installed into head

I have 3 sets of front and rear seats for sale cheap (grey/grey or black/grey)
If you want the black ones you can have them for $10

I also have a rearview mirror and about any other interior/exterior pieces you need

Halon 01-10-2004 05:04 PM

wow, would you be willing to ship them to Arizona? what kinda condtion are they in? any pics? also u said u have lots of interior/exterior pieces. you know those little clips in the rear that hold the carpet hatch cover thing in place? they are like 2 little clips that are right behind the rear seats and a lil metal rod clips into them, well im missing the passenger side one. and that 10 dollar price tag, is that for like both fronts, the rear, and the rear backs? or is it like 10 bux each? thanx

1QUICK4 01-11-2004 04:20 PM

I could check in to shipping if you give me your zip.
It would probably cost a grip to send out to AZ (I thought you were a MN local)

If your still interested PM me your zip

ACRucrazy 01-11-2004 05:22 PM

When i shipped my tranny it cost 50 bux UPS when i bought it from Scott Mohler, and like 56 Fed Ex ground when i sold it...
Not bad IMO

Halon 01-11-2004 08:01 PM

im from MN, will most likely be going back there once i get outta the Marines, but for now im stuck in shitty Yuma, AZ 85364. also what exactly would i be getting for 10 bux? both front and the rear seats? Im not going to be putting them in my car, im getting my seats reupholstered because i like leather, but im asking for my friend. because his seats are HORRIBLE. So let me know what all is included (both fronts and the rear seats and rear backs?), and what the final cost with shipping would be to 85364. thanx man

slowbubblecar 01-12-2004 06:33 PM

$2600 on my 2g
$700 3" exhaust
$300 misc parts

santa 01-12-2004 07:44 PM

Only 20 psi on 110 I've went over it before. I was affraid about blowning her up so I wasnt gonna run anymore than that...but now I will haha!

I think Josh has his car stuck in the back of mind. It seems when your typing your feelings for your car keep getting typed.... sorry to hear you feel that way about it.

J/K....

I love my DSM even if it isn't the fastest I still love the way it looks, and I love the way it drives..

A few years ago the scene was quite different, everything was more layed back, and competition wasn't as fierce. Oh well, we'll run again this year.
Lets do it at the track, that way you have a fighting chance :).

I'm still as layed back as ever. More so now a days. I think everyone else's got competitive. I just love seeing cars run don't matter if I'm racing or if I'm winning or getting my Arse kicked(kicked most of the time). I mod my car when I can, with what I can, and how I want.

Josh's You've always been IMO one of the better drivers out there. And even though your cars weren't the most modified you were always faster then you should be. Hell look at your 3s. Still IMO setting the standards 13.0 is awsome for what's done to your car.

Nash, Hell I heard Brent tell me he ran a 20G with stock manifold to low 11's (back when I was asking him to fix my archer manifold). Think Nash might be the next Brent Rau?... who knows, could be the way things are shaping up... But in anycase I wish him the best of luck. God knows he's put enough time, $$$, Sweat into this hobby.. It's about time he's gotten the numbers he been shooting for.

Someday I might get to that point. I might have to put down as much horsepower as Shep to run an 11 but Hell I really don't care. I'm in it for the fun.
I love driving my car (cash flow for Gas dependent these days though). And for me 1/4 mile isn't everything. I like meeting people and hearing other peoples experiences. I like to chit chat and socialize. Hell that's why why Kris Ali, Gesse Geiken and I started the Buffalo Wild Wing Tuesdays. It's from those gatherings that MIAC was formed. From there it was Xrated, MNSR, then dsmstyle.

I look forward to this summer to watch people run and to see what people have done with there cars. I feel lucky just being able to participate doesn't matter if I'm winning or loosing. Hope to be able to race with everyone this summer. Think an outing like the old days might be in order for the new year. I even got the camcorder back to shoot the video's again.
