All this talking about testing these got me wondering, and I am a little skeptical myself.

They were so cheap anyways!!

So what do you say LSE? When I come home in April you know I was wanting to hop on the dyno. Lets do some runs with my car on stock cams, and then put these in and see what gains we see?

Re: DKS Cams

No cam gears, just these. That should work right? And I have some Crower springs and Ti retainers on the way as well. I had a fair amount of people I knew in Socal that were running 272's without upgraded valvetrain and they did fine, but I figured that I won't gamble, and just do it right.

(btw, i just found out what CVD stands for about 5 hours ago!)

Probably not...but you know, I bet I could get rid of them for you since I'm such a nice guy and all.;)

Shit you were supposed to get rid of my stock fpr! I don't plan on getting any other gears since these are supposed to be able to just drop in and go. So hopefully that means I don't need any new gears. If I do, then shit man more money!

Re: DKS Cams

Yeah, you dont need new ones. Hey, why dont I take your cams & gears and I'll hook you up with my stock cam gears...if I can find em. I'll pay for the cams of course. When you swapping em?

Re: DKS Cams

I won't be swapping them in until April probably. If you can find your old stock cam gears, then I don't see a problem with doing that!

I've been looking at these cams too for a while, I haven't heard one bad thing about them til I looked here, I know they are regrinds, people said they have picked up some good power without any problems. here's a few threads from dsmtuners.
