No not a picture of me, a picture of you!

Re: Tatoo!
I dunno but to me when I think about it... Placing a mitus logo in a provacative area is just screaming put me in a bikini next to a mistu. I thought you were all against girls and looking nice next to a car in a bikini?
Because how will you be able to see that tattoo unless your wearing something that comes down like a bikini or underwear does? No offense at all but it doesnt make sense with your point of view on women and cars... |

Re: Tatoo!

Re: Tatoo!
Matt's pretty close to right. It's ok though because my next car is going to be a TSi or something of that sort.
M3: I put it there because I liked it there. And because like you said, people wouldn't normally see it there. To me it doesn't play into anything that has to do with genders. I have to wear it, so I have to like it. No one else has to look at it or like it if they don't want to. |
Re: Tatoo!
Ya know, how to we really know it's you and how do we really know those are NOT Victoria's Secret.
|
Re: Tatoo!
I think for everyone to be able to form a proper opinion of the tattoo, we need to see multiple shots of it, each with a different undergarmet below it.
|
Re: Tatoo!
I suppose I could post my story about how I almost got a Chevy symbol tattoo'd on my shoulder around 1987. Glad I didn't do that.

Re: Tatoo!
Looks good! I like it. Cant say the same for the Chinease writting and the spider though. Sorry bro..
Its weird to see peoples views on Tatts. See me, I think there cool. I always have. I have 3 myself. These days I think tattoos are ALOT more socially acceptable then when I 1st got my 1st one. So as far as worrying about it being permanent, I dont see it as a prob. Everyone asks me, what about when ya get old? Then how are ya gonna feel about it? When Im old, whats a better reminder of my youth than my tattoos? What is it that old people talk about 90% of the time? There youth. Plus when your old I think a person has alot better stuff to worry about than a old tattoo. Just my opinion. |
Re: Tatoo!
Looks good!!!
Probably not something that I would do, but more power to ya for doing something that your passionate about. Wether you regret it or not in the future, you'll probably remeber what it meant at the time. That's a good way to rebel against "the man" -Mark |
Re: Tatoo!
A.G. And Rickshaw.. you guys rock! finally people who see it how I see it!
|
Re: Tatoo!
So let me get this straight, have you or have you not owned a car with a Mitsu engine?
|
Re: Tatoo!
She has not :)
|
Re: Tatoo!
I like the tattoo it looks good.
|
Re: Tatoo!
Might as well have gotten a Ferrari tatoo. If you're going to be a poser, at least pose under the guise of exotic performance.

I thought it was pretty damn funny. :D

Re: Tatoo!
Of course you did.
I like my tattoo. If you don't, that's fine. You don't have to look at it. I have to live with it and I'm happy with it. I did like the Mistu one with the Chinese writing and spider webs. I thought it was pretty damn cool looking. |
Re: Tatoo!
"Mommy, what are the 3 diamonds on your tummy?"
"That's the symbol for Mitsubishi, a car company that used to exist 15 years ago" "Why do you have Mitsubishi on your tummy?" "Well, you see, back when mommy was younger, she owned an Eagle Talon" <puzzled look> "Well the Eagle Talon was just like the Mitsubishi Eclipse" "How was it like it?" <stammering> "well.....some Eagle Talons came with a Mitsubishi motor" "Oh, so you had a Mitsubishi motor" <embarassment setting in> "well, mommy's car didn't, but some people that mommy was loosely affiliated with over the internet did" "I don't understand mommy" "GO TO YOUR ROOM" |
Re: Tatoo!

You still got the tattoo because of your eagle talon with a neon motor. |

Re: Tatoo!
Doh!! This thread is getting brutal. I'm surprised Tauni has lasted this long. She must be pretty thick skinned.
I'm not a big fan of tatoos, but I'm impressed with someone who wants to put a diamond star on there body. You are starting to make me think that I'm not the biggest Mitsu nut out there. ;) later, Curt |

I didn't like tattoos either, then all of the sudden my friend was coming up to visit from Texas, and we decided we wanted to do something crazy and random, and a tattoo was brought up, since piercings weren't random [I have seven, soon to be eight] anymore and we couldn't think of anything else worth doing. So we decided to do that and I couldn't think of a damn thing I felt like putting on my body so I decided, hey, I'm young, I'm doing this because I need to do something spontaneous, so why not make it something I will look back at in 30 years and say, hell yah, I was this kind of person at 18. There ya go. I knew I'd get shit. And I have. But I don't care, I love it. Probably the most spontaneous thing I have ever done. |
Re: Tatoo!
Nothing like spontaneity when deciding to permanently ink something on your body. I think you'll defintely look back and know what kind of person you were at 18. Unfortunately that probably isn't the same thought you are currently having.

Re: Tatoo!
Wow. Another dumb comment by someone who knows nothign about me. I'm done posting in this thread. To all of you who liked the tattoo, thanks! To those of you who don't, oh well.
