for a successful AWD/2WD setup, you need a matching pair of "Switcing" tcase and tranny....on my galant we had a switchable tcase but a USDM tranny, so no fun for us.....so no pointless burnouts
AND WHO CARES, BIGGEST AWD DYNO COMING TO MAPLE GROVE! WOOT! THX LSE! whats really funny is I think my 91 GVR4 (and possibly the 92) has a 22 spline tranny/tcase, because when we installed the JDM "1989GVR4" transmission (which I am quite sure is a 22) it bolted right up to my stock tcase. I spose I should have counted, basically maybe GVR4s dont comply with the 90/91-94 transmission rule of thumb. |
