I think he got bit by the "detonation monster". Or didn't torque a rod bolt correctly.

I liked how they were picking up the pieces thinking they wouldn't be hot.

Came across this... sounds intersesting... I might be doing this, just cause of the fast I have a handle on a free MS 1 that my buddy bought and has no use for, and I need to get an intake senser other than a 1G one...

It's free until it cost you an engine. Go buy DSMLink and save yourself some money.

I thought someone would have mentioned ecu+... cheaper than dsmlink and no need for a eprom ecu. hell you can even run blow thru on a gm sensor without having the gm maft... I suggest you guys check it out...

ECUPlus is a piggyback system like an S-AFC or E-Manage. It isn't in the same league as a standalone system like Megasquirt or stock ECU manipulation like DSMLink.

I don't think "IT" costs people engines, I think its the people tuning em.... cause its not user friendly and they dont know what the hell their doing, so they just guess....
