Tis the season. My buddy just got his chrome 18's taken from his '99 BMW, they left the car on some landscaping bricks that were nearby. Thieves suck.

Re: F'in thieves!

Ehhhhh mother fuckers. Its not even my bike and I am pissed. I went over and talked to the neighbors and they said they seen a white Lumina circling the block last night around 2am. Then they said they heard a bike start up but they didn't know if it was his. Who knows. All I know is I am going to be watching close now and if I see anyone in our fucking yard doing anything I will shoot the fucker ( we have plenty of guns laying around). I hope to god I see someone riding that fucking thing some day. I would knock every one of their teeth out then call the cops and bring JETs bike back along with a bag full of teeth for the tooth fairy. Sorry just a little bitter....

Damn, Sorry Jet. That truely sucks. When you replace it maybe you should use it as bait to catch the fucker if they would dare to try it again. Video Survailance or some shit.

That sucks so fucking bad, when i read that first post my heart just dropped. That bike is so beautiful.
was it in the garage or outside?

Re: F'in thieves!

Yea that really sucks but if it was outside I dont see how hard it could be to just take it. Especially if no one would be home or quietly at night. That nice of a toy should be indoors.

But still that really sucks, insurance will cover everything except deductible right?

Re: F'in thieves!

That really sucks. Locks are easy to get around on them. At work, our locksmith is brought bike ignitions wanting a key made. He will not touch them without a copy of the title. I have been wondering about the safety of my bike. It is parked outside also. The best spot is the driveway right now. It always get blocked in by cars and I have to ride down the neighbors driveway. She will not be happy when she finds out. I am defenitly going to look into some kind of security device. I was contemplating the street but....

Any idea on how long it will take for another? When are they going to dish out the cash and can you find another?

I have a camera on my car (parked on the street) in front of house, and I use a baby monitor.

Re: F'in thieves!

The bike was found, we are going to get it right now. I will let JET post the details but its just too good of news to not say something. All I will say is a guy was riding it, hope he has fun doing time for grand theft auto. Stupid fuck.

Now we have to go out and get drunk to celebrate...Dammit I was going to take the weekend off too.

Re: F'in thieves!

Yeah, the guy was pulled over doing 105 mph on a CR in east bethel. The have him and I am pressing charges, of course. It sounds like they must have thrown it in a truck, both sides of the bike are supposed to be scratched up and the headlight is broken. Not exactly how I wanted this to end. At least they caught the bastard and I get to see him get hauled off to jail!!

I dont' get the bike back until tomorrow, so I won't have the full details of the damage until then.

Re: F'in thieves!

At least it was found and it obviously is running. Plastic and headlights can be replaced. I think we should line the hall as he's walking into court and each of us just get one good hit.

Re: F'in thieves!

Awsome! Make him pay damages too! Time for some free Carbonfiber body work!

Re: F'in thieves!

Glad to hear things worked out for ya JET. Hopefully they will give him a lot of time, if they dont then he will wanna kill someone to stay in because in the dsm community (mafia) if you fuck with us you get a crankwalked 7 bolt up your ass.

Re: F'in thieves!

Glad to hear you found it. Sounds like its time for some custom painting.

Re: F'in thieves!

good to hear you got it back. Panels and stuff for bikes are expensive so it might be close to the $1000 mark in damage anyhow. Hopefully you can get the guy to pay for the damages and you aren't stuck dealing with the damage and costs.

JET 07-15-2005 08:11 PM

Re: F'in thieves!

Yeah, I will definately sue him for the damages. Will I ever see the money? Who knows. I am shopping for GPS systems and alarms right now! Overall I am happy that I get a running bike back with minimal damage.
