Watch any rally car at night going into a corner, you will see orange or red rotors.

As far as glowing turbos, Scott Parrotts turbo on his rallycar was almost translucent when his engine hatched out in Michigan last fall at LSPR. He could actually see part of his exhaust wheel though the housing. Now that's hot!!!!
