Thanks for the responses to this thread.... I will email Jennifer Anderson about the track prepping. She is the track director at Rock Falls. They do pretty good on Import Days so i think we deserve something in return. I can't think of any reason why they don't prep it other than the fact that most people use radial tires and not slicks. I know when i go up to the line, i drive around the water box. I will post back anything i hear back. Probably won't be till later though. I have to run to one of our other branch sites.

Assuming the car is done, I will probably be going to BIR on Wed night for the heads up stuff. I don't want to waste gas at the rock except possibly at a test in tune if I need to. If I go there again, it will likely be to support/watch others on the site or our customers.

It is all the FWD cars on radials that hose up RF. They burn off all the traction compound. I guess us AWD guys that spin through 2nd don't help much either :D

I only gone 3 times this year. Two of the three were Import Days and that One Fun Day outbeat those two import days..haha. If I knew how many DSMs went on Fun Days, I would've gone there instead. I'm thinking up hitting up one of those Test and Tune days. I've never been to those before. I would like to go to CF, but its a ways away and if my car breaks down...I'm in deep S***. If I had 10+ runs, I wouldnt have clutch anymore. Had 4 runs at the first import day and after that I couldnt go above 1/3 throttle or I'd just slip like mad. I'm making my way into the low 13's at the least.

I live 9x further from the Rock and I'm always scared of breaking something, so I go when I feel like its going to be a good day. I can feel my tranny starting to show symptoms of breaking. I think its time for her to be rebuilt!

I'm pretty sure i've seen this car(yours) at the Rock before. I've only seen maybe a handful of 2g Eclipses there that were fast, 12's or faster. Are you the one that Brian told me was making 551whp?

Mine makes a little more than that, not sure who he was talking about. There were some 1Gs making around that power last summer.

I think you photoshopped your wheel onto another white 2G, we all know your car never runs. ;)

Rockfalls is a decent track, but when the stealth is finished, i'll probably try to hit up the Iowa tracks.

I think the tar will have disintegrated by then. :D
