Finding cures for diseases doesn't have anything to do with "God's plan". Harvesting human babies for the sole purpose of destroying them to try to find a cure for clowns like Christopher Reeves does, thou shalt not kill, pretty simple stuff.

Stem cells are taken from left over zygotes in fertilization clinics.Typically a woman gives like 20 or so eggs for the IFV process.They are fertilized, one is implanted.The rest are frozen for a period of time, in case the first doesn't work.After the rest are of no use to the woman, they usually are left frozen for an indefinate period of time, or disposed of, either by letting them dry out and die or they're incinerated, and in some case simply washed down the drain.

Bottom line, these are zygotes, nothing more than a mass of stem cells.NO skin, organs, bones or tissue of any kind.By the time they develop into to anything that could be considered human, they are of no use to stem cell researchers.

So I ask you, whats so wrong with putting these stem cells to good use, when they would be otherwised disposed of? Stem cells have the potential to eliminate nearly all human suffering in this world.They have the potential to cure just about any disease of present or future.They have the potential to render human handicapps a thing of the past.They have the potential to raise quality of life for billions of people.

On a side note, all these people are crying about the very small amount(I believe less than 20 total in the US) of zygotes that were sacrificed in the name of stem cell research, but no one says a word about the thousands of zygotes that are killed/disposed of in IVF clinics on a regular basis.

If you have AIDS, stop having unprotected sex. If you don't know, then GET TESTED!!! I get tested every 6 months.

This will just open another can of worms, but people who knowingly spread AIDS by sex should be charged with Attempted Manslaughter, or 1st Degree Assault with the intent to kill.
