If you got caught, and you're a regular member on this site, and you know who I am... I've got only one thing to say.

I told you so....

I've been warning you guys about shit like this for over a year. next year they're going to be doing the same thing, only on a larger scale. Get ready if you street race... Every time you're at a race, THERE IS WITHOUT A DOUBT someone undercover from the gang stike task force, or the asian strike task force. Fox 9 scraped the surface of undercover busts.

Hell, they have MY name, plate, and everything...

For sure next year there going to be more serious, But thats not stopping me from being down there. As long as we dont race we should be fine.

What the heck, I thought I was the only one on here who saw/heard signs of a sting coming our way. I raced once that road once, but that was way before the sting took place..lucky me.

There was only one interesting race there and that was with an evo and a gsx. Did anyone see that pink probe? One of the girl cops there was telling the owner how nice her car was and how much she spent on it.

GSXMatt 11-21-2004 10:40 PM

I've seen that Pink Probe around. Pink+ Probe.......Interesting thoughts not concerning cars.

Don't be so sure about that. They may start cracking down with unlawful assembly charges. Basically the law states if more than 3 people (or less I don't remember) assemble with the "intent" to commit a crime, it is considered unlawful assembly. Otherwise they could try to get something passed for the local laws about being at street races, watching or racing.

They will figure out a way to make sure you get punished. It may take a little time, but they will get it done. I say cut you losses now and try like hell to get a friday nite and saturday nite track set up leaglly where the police are involved to promote safety rather than busting you for street racing. I think they are doing it in San Diego or something like that. Work on that rather than trying to get away with crimes and then you won't have to worry about getting busted for illegal racing.

Werd! What a waste of manpower. The cops blocking the way out could have taken care of all that without the people in the warehouse.

And then at the end when they showed the revenge by the broken windows.... Takes a real man to do that.

They just wanted to make it "flashy" for the news.

You actually have a point there. Trying to bring more to show the tax payers they can look all movie like, but in reality so over done and a waste of funds.

Goat Blower 11-21-2004 11:52 PM

It was nothing exciting, I Tivo'd it. The usual edited down to a minute report.

SuperSleeper 11-22-2004 12:51 AM

Despite it's lack of interesting material, does anyone have it available online? I'm starting a street racing news collection. :p

JoeGengsta 11-22-2004 12:55 AM

There are no fast cars that race there. Those people are always smarter.

The Taxpayers of Saint Paul have complained about street racing, stolen parts, asian gangs, the traffic on Uni Ave...

It wasn't a waste of time, it showed the public that they're out there trying to stop it, They record license plates, chased some people out from racing at that spot. Their whole goal is to detract racing in St Paul.

This might make some more people think before they do.
This is just like Tom's little fetish with the front plate law, if you're going to violate an ordinance, statute, or law, don't bitch when you get caught.

Like I said, this is just the tip of the iceburg. Wait til' next year...

niterydr 11-22-2004 10:20 AM

It was an interesting story, that just tipped off the public to how large the 'scene' actually is.

That chick is a dumbass. An officer stood right in front of her car, and she almost ran him over. She ignored orders to stop.

That's felony fleeing, wreckless driving, resisting arrest, not to mention that if she would have came at the right officer on the wrong day like that with her car, she might have swallowed a few hollow points...

And for those of you who might know her, I offer no apologies. everyone on this site shits on cops, I'll shit on dumbasses like her.

Halon 11-22-2004 10:46 AM

I don't shit on cops. I've even considered becomming one someday. Don't think it'd be too bad of a job at all. Sure it sucks to get tickets, but it sure is nice when one is there when you're in need of help. Just gotta shrug off the assholes and think about the people who do appreciate your work right!!

So thats where all of Propulshuns customers go! I was wondering why you never see them at the drag strip. With cars that slow, I would be embarrassed to goto a real track also.

No, it's just they spend all their money on stickers, so they run out of funds for a run at the track! ;)
