Aaron, it's all about staying in 4th gear through the traps in an evo. Skipping fifth and revving out 4th netted me .3 seconds on average or more.

Yea it should have a really nice usable powerband from 5200-8500k No need to rev it more than I need to though. Will be daily driving this setup with a little autox/ drag on the weekends

Broseph, I'm not talking shit I'm just telling him what i know from what I have seen.

He could make power past 8500rpm and I know about racing a little guy.

I plan on doing the same he is, DD the car rev to 8500rpm on teh street and whatever i need to for the trap. (on this dream setup of course)

I guess I like the creativity behind the dump tube, but what about when it rains n stuff? Have you thought about what might happen if you get crud in the wg? ...just a thought.

Honda guys have been running the exhaust and dump tube out the hood for a long time. Not exactly sure if that is something you want to emulate though.

I know that my car got way nicer to drive when I recirculated the WG dump. Ask Mustgofaster how cool an open dump is when you're door to door the whole race.

I bought a used standard Garrett 3582 and sent it in to FP for the HTA3586 upgrade.

The thing was fucking nasty on only 26 psi and 10.X afr's with no timing. Turbo popped in 2nd gear partial throttle with only about 40 miles on it.

Overnighted it and its FP right now getting inspected. Im going to flip shit if I have to shell out $1800 on a new one.
