Andrew got the head off last night...just waiting for him to post pics. Sounds like the valves did collide with the pistons but I'm hoping the damage is minimal.

That's the cylinder that the rod let go so the piston was able to turn what ever way it wanted not being held by the rod any more.

Got it taken apart then put back together...transfer case is ready to rock! We also got the head disassembled, boxed up, and on it's way to MAP for rebuild/porting. |
