:D

Was not aware of that.

I'm still stuck in early 1930's tech for my turbos

They're calling it air cooled, but i can guarantee you that more heat is being transferred into the oil than is being dissipated by that tiny fin array.

I Wouldn't think it would be any more than a journal bearing, maybe even less than a journal bearing because it requires less oil?

So there is still oil circulating thru it right?
So wouldn't that be oil cooled?

Or are they saying air cooled to make the people that swear by water cooled feel better?

Looks like a solid turbo, typical of the FP stables. However, I'm NO baller, and cannot afford a turbo that's 2 grand. Thanks though, I'll just stick to the shitty setup I have.

If you figure the amount of money you've put into cheap turbos that crap out in 5 miles, you'd have this thing payed for already. :)

Spending a g-ball on a nice turbo was so much fun, but also a pain in the butt. Right where my wallet goes. It doesn't surge now though. :) Only need a few/10 more psi to make it fun again. You get what you pay for, generally so whip out your credit card if you are still searching for turbos.

I haven't spent big dollars on a turbo yet and to be fair its because i change my mind as often as I fart.

Chrome, you got a big ass turbo 6262 has been said to flow 75lb/min, either way a lot of power left on the table.

I want to see someone max a 5857.

These days if I had to pay for a new turbo it would be PTE new billet line, they seem to be a lot better quality and the power is awesome, not to mention the price seems about right.
