I'd offer 800. I've always wanted a GVR4 and that one doesn't look in too bad of shape. Sure it needs a hood fender and grille, but all that stuff is pretty cheap. If I had the extra money laying around and didn't already have a project car, I'd pick it up.

Yup pretty sure that's the kid. He texted me all sorts of newbish questions for the first month or so that he had the car. Heck the kid had never even driven a stick when he showed up to buy my car lol. He had an idea and learned quick, but I still had to teach him using my dsm lol.

Thanks jason. I keep hoping that one day when I have the time and space, I'll get another one and build it right.

It looks rough, but if you think it is solid mechanically it seems like a pretty decent deal.

I knew you'd miss DSM's someday. haha

A rusty non-turbo 1.8L 1g? What a steal!

On another note, where is this 91 VR4?

If you could PM me his contact info I'd greatly appreciate it :D

lol I missed it right away, but I don't think I regret selling it. I made a pretty penny off that car, and well...I'm confident I could do it up again cheaper/better now that I kinda have an idea about dsms. It'll have to wait until I have a little more space though. I've learned that modding a dsm as a dd is not a good idea. Which is probably why this gvr4 isn't for me. Thanks guys.

No...if anything just buy an Evo. At least then it won't be a 20 year old rusty piece of shit.

That's because all the DSM's are broken and never make it out of the garage anymore.

And all the DSM owners wised up and moved on to a better, non-rusty platform LOL

The galant made it from Fargo to Rogers to the dyno and back to Fargo with ZERO problems!

GH you might be correct. dsm owners grew up. I have one more semester before I'ma grown up lol

The x doesn't count! There were only like 2 I saw that whole day.

That was a weird dyno day...a Black on E85 could have taken high hp honors. I imagined that at least one of the big boys would have shown up for a trophy.
