We almost forgot about our good friends at Fidanza, who supplied us with this beautiful set of Fidanza cam gears. Thanks Shawn!

Building the transmission, transfer case or rearend at all? What about the driveshaft and axles? The two piece AWD Motorsports driveshaft is a nice piece. :)

Those are certainly considerations we will have to take into account in the near future, but stage 1 is simply to get the car running and making power :) One thing I can say for sure is that there will be no AWD Motorsports parts on this car ;)

Pics of the metal work, and the fuel cell. Final riveting will not take place until the cage work is done, so we don't have to do it twice.

That is a work of art. Clean work with sheet metal and rivets makes me smile.

About damn time you posted this up!! I heard from a birdie that you guys had issues with the turbo on startup...?

Re: MAPerformance's Drag Evo Build

It seems to be leaking some oil into the comp cover :(

Swifty1638 05-03-2010 12:29 PM

Re: MAPerformance's Drag Evo Build

Yea, I was wondering why I was asked if I had a turbo for you guys or not lol. Either way, hope it gets figured out. I'm wondering if there's a seal behind the comp wheel that is to blame? Bob take it apart yet?
