So by stock block they are saying:

Rods
Pistons
Head Gasket
Head Studs
Etc.

I assume?

I love the X, but I hate the trunk. Literally that's the only thing that would hold me back from buying one.

I agree that is pretty stupid. When most people say 'stock block' they mean stock long block with stock rod bolts and everything.

That'd obviously be impossible at 9800 rpm. The valves float on the 4B11T at 8500 with stock springs/cam.
