Vikings beat themselves. They played hard, but could not control the football when it counted. A few really costly mistakes and a few calls not going the Vikings way, and that is the end of the season.

To bad, because I was hoping for a good superbowl. Now I get to watch Indy STEAMROLL New Orleans. It will probably be like 40-20 Indy.

Good run at it Vikings. Better luck next year.

Now its time to start to get ready for the TWINS BABY!

All those hits probably had something to do with that.

Well, I'm by no means a football fan, but I'm glad to see they pulled it off.

I am guessing Favre will be done. I would like to see the Vikings trade Peterson away as well to get a better QB. He has been fairly worthless the second half of the year and has cost us a few games. He got many TDs this year, but that is primarily because the ball goes to him every time we are at the goal line. Might as well get something for him while we can.

Bandwagon :P

Saints played pretty dirty, guess that's why they call it the "dirty south".

I was rooting for them. Great game. They had it in the bag, but they lost it for themselves.

Probably hard to focus on playing when you gotta watch out for dudes trying to body slam you 100% of the time.

Maybe Favre should have a talk with his offensive linemen about how to block and protect their quarterback? :violin:

Saints win! Let the healing of New Orleans begin! Hurricane Katrina is a long lost memory!

:jackoff:

Is anyone else convinced that any time Joe Buck announces a big game for a Minnesota team that they are destined to lose no matter what? I'm fucking sick of that guy announcing every time the Twins or Vikings lose a big game.

Vicious, nice to see at least the Saints have at least one fair weather fan.

Joe buck is a polesmoker, I'd love to kick his teeth in, that guy hates all MN teams for some reason, and loves to the Cowboys if you haven't noticed

Meh, any true Vikings fan is used to dissapointment. As usual we beat our selves

All in all it was a killer season. We went 12-4, dominated our division, and made it to the NFC Championship game.

Now that the Queens are out I am rooting for NOLA in the UberBowl

And coindedence that the spread is 3 1/2 points and the magically win by only 3? All reviews in the last 2 minutes and OT are vegas called reviews ;)

Yeah that game was hard, but the Vikings outplayed the Saints all game, the TURNOVERS were awful but they were still in the game, the refs won the game for the Saints at the end. That pass interference on Leber? For one thing it wasn't pass interference, plus it wasn't even catchable, then the no-catch by Meachem, it was bobbled and touched the ground.

Oh well, Vikings fans are used to 'almost' s', go luck in the Superbowl Saints, you won't have the refs and the replay booth on your side this time, Brees better throw for more than a 100 yards this time.

Re: So Sorry My Minnesota Brothers & Sisters

In my eyes, there were definitly things we could have done better, The turnovers killed us. some shitty calls killed us, Sydney Rice was nowhere to be found the entire game, almost wonder if he was paid off, sure he got a TD but wasnt that the only catch he made the entire game? Im used to him being explosive catching everything under the sun.
The Commentators Buck and Aikman were both really pissing me off. they announced vs the cowgirls as well. Its like everytime the vikings made a good play, buck was like "and Shanecoe makes a catch for 26 yards, but look at how the saints are doing, i love the saints, im going to shower with them after the game"
There were two huge calls that should have been overturned, the pass interferance and the bobbleing the ball, hell even the one where the saints guy dove over the line and our players helmet pushed the ball towards his legs, the ball looked like it never crossed the line.
