DSMs have a small nich crowd. Once you stray too far away from that crowd, people have no idea.


I totally agree.

All 1g's are sleepers no matter what. If there is no FMIC, it is a sleeper. Even with a FMIC, some people just don't know. A 2g on the other hand, people expect to be fast-er just cause, even if its a ghey Neon'd/Eclipse.

I didn't think that they were sleepers, but just like Curt said, youtalk to someone who doesn't know much about DSM's and they think that they are slow. One of my friends at school has a Talon and was telling me that he wants a faster car, and I told him that he already has it, he just has to work on it and tune it and he was shocked. That just goes to show that some people who even have DSM's don't know their car's true potential.

1G most often Sleeper
2G most often THOUGHT to be fast

when people see my car, they just say it is fast, we were parked at the strip and me and 4 others had hoods popped, everyone said mine was the fastest, and even though it was ( others where a 95 nt with bomex body kit, and 3 blah civics) The only time people think my car is a "sleeper" they think non turbo eclipse because they are TOO COMMON. 1Gs can still be sleepers, but like me, you will find yourself suprising preppy corvette drivers more than anyone because they are stock, and they wasted the money. :3gears:

Some people like to have 300+ horses out of the box and not have to worry about shit breaking on a regular basis.
